Showed up a little after close today. A guy was very nice to stay open to take care of me then proceeded to butcher my neck. It's very painful. And he shaved off a corner of my mustache. Not worth staying open for me to rush everything and hurt me. Not even sure I want to go back but I hate finding new barbers . read more

I found this barbershop on Yelp 5 years ago and have not needed to look for another barbershop since then. Stan is fast and always gives me a great haircut. If you are older and don't get modern haircuts then this place is great for you. If you want to get a low fade, taper fade, drop fade. Don't come here I asked for a drop fade and got a high skin fade and I just wanted a little off the top and he cut 2 inches off. The haircut isn't technically bad. However I got nothing I asked for. Took my son in today for his first hair cut in over a year and a half. Even though every chair was full we only had a short wait and everyone was super friendly. The young man who cut my sons hair (wish I could remember his name!) did a great job and my son said he was fun and he enjoyed talking to him. We will definitely be back for myself and to keep the kids hair short for the summer. I started using A&B in 2020 at the end of the quarantine period for covid. So I have had 30 or more haircuts there. And I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is very pleasant, good conversation and smooth sounds from Elvis to Frank Sinatra and everything in-between. My main man is Izzy. Best fade ever! Recently moved out here from Orange County, CA and have been trying to find a good barber. I went to 'Keep it Cut' here in Tempe two weeks ago and they completely screwed up my hair when I asked for a medium fade, left me feeling insecure for the way my hair looked for a week until it started to grow a bit. Then went to this barbershop to give them a try because of the good reviews they had on google, and they did not disappoint. They fixed my hair and made it look sharp/clean. Now this is what a medium fade is supposed to look like! I forgot the guy's name, but shout out to him for fixing someone else's shitty work.10/10 Highly recommend. read more

I've been coming here consistently for a few months now after moving to the area. When you move, you typically gotta find a new barber, so I went to a couple places before stumbling upon this place and I've had good experiences here. Typically I prefer my haircut by Stan, who owns the place with his brothers who also cut hair here. From what I've seen, they all do a great job. I like the barbershop here, it's not too flashy but also not too old and funky. I get a good barbershop vibe here. They have TV's to watch sports too. I also got my eyebrows waxed and threaded once and I was super pleased with the outcome!! As a dude, it's not something I really considered before and it's not like my eyebrows were out of control but I definitely noticed a difference after I had them done. read more
