The salesman, David Moffatt, said not to worry; we can hold the items and deliver them for free when you are ready to receive them. The delivery was white glove, and the men were wonderful. I later had some trouble with the bar stools, so I spoke to Mr Moffatt, who talked with Bob in the warehouse about going to my home to fix the stools, which Bob did. It was an easy fix with me as a happy customer. I can't say enough about this wonderful store that gives great personal customer service. She is dismissive, sarcastic with unproductive e-mails ending with "Have a good day", and flat out horrible as I was warned by my easy going wife. We bought expensive Italian pendant lights that were either poorly manufactured or damaged in transit. We provided clearly marked photos of poorly joined metal parts (see attached). Sat first, she blamed it on our cleaning person who never touched the lights, saying she used a corrosive or at least wrong cleaning agent. Then she blamed it on installation but after backing off on that possibility, she blamed our electrician for not noticing the issue before installation. She wanted us to pay to uninstall them, send them to Miami to be "repaired", leaving open holes in our celling for weeks/months, and then pay to ship them back. She refused to explain what caused the damage after her first two ridiculous reasons were ruled out by her coming over and seeing them. Trust me, she's in the vendor's corner, not yours. BTW. Sophie, our sales person is the opposite. BEYOND NICE. But, Monika rules the roost and is an aggressive obstructionist.
