I've ordered bar stools, TV console and ceiling fans from this wonderful company. Not many places will give you such great customer service. I bought some items before I moved to Florida. The salesman, David Moffatt, said not to worry; we can hold the items and deliver them for free when you are ready to receive them. The delivery was white glove, and the men were wonderful. I later had some trouble with the bar stools, so I spoke to Mr Moffatt, who talked with Bob in the warehouse about going to my home to fix the stools, which Bob did. It was an easy fix with me as a happy customer. I can't say enough about this wonderful store that gives great personal customer service. Oh, before I forget to mention, they have a great showroom with beautiful light fixtures, fans, furniture, and home decor. Lyteworks is a good find, so go check it out! read more

Walked in to find obscure plastic light cover I broke and was blown away by the array of light fixtures they displayed. If I need lighting in the future, I intend to go there. FYI they could not help me but recommended another place which also could not help. read more

Show room is helpful to see lots of lighting options. Prices are pretty high. Once you actually place an order, the service is oddly poor. In the information age, one expects to get updates about order status, about estimated deliveries etc etc-but no don't expect that unless you call. Service is also lacking about coordinating delivery of the order. read more

I've spent thousands here in a very short period of time, still in process of remolding my entire home here in Bradenton. I fell in love with this place, but once I ran into trouble with a simple order no one except Tyler could fix it. After several phone calls along with trips made back here it took over a month to get corrected. Only because I had to once again go into the store in person to get answers and get this corrected. On top of all of my inconvenience, while there I spotted a brand new light I wanted to purchase, was told I would have to take the one in store hanging up. Asked when I attempted to return a light fixture that didn't work with my decor was told I couldn't return it because I had hung it all ready. I asked why they couldn't even offer me $50.00 to sell it in store? Nope because I cut wires and hung it already so I have a $400.00 fixture I can not use. But when it came to me buying the one they all ready cut and was hanging in the show room, for $600.00 they would not offer me a dollar bill off for taking it from the show room. Extremely disappointed on customer service. I fell in love with this light, but I will hunt it down and buy it from someone else now even if it's going to cost me more money. They lost a very good customer, and a lot more that I was going to send their way that are in the process of building and re doing both homes on long boat key and Anna Marie. I get hired to help stage and re do lots of very high end homes. But Lyte works will not be getting their business either. So sad. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday and a young man waited on us and he was of no help whatsoever. We needed an entire house of lighting and he was clearly annoyed by our presence. At one point he rolled his eyes when looking at another employee. We went to Franklin Lighting and purchased an entire house of lighting and fans. Joanne also worked directly with a Customer Service employee from the Mink/ George Kovac company, in order to find a satisfactory solution for me, which they did! Their customer service is wonderful! We had an issue with our pendant lights and very displeased with the "look" of 2 out of 3 pendants. They ordered several new ones, on two separate occasions and we finally found acceptable replacements. These were custom lights, they could've told us to go away, instead they made every effort to make us happy. They certainly succeeded!! I highly recommend this company. read more

Ok, right off the bat I'm going to admit that this review is a bit prejudice as the owner is a family friend. However, this is seriously the best lighting store around. Why you ask? First, this is a local, family business. It is not a chain. Second, The owner has been in the lighting business of over two decades and she really knows her stuff. She is an expert not only in lighting but interior design. Don't believe me? Well, that leads me to number three. Take a trip into this showroom in Bradenton and just observe how well it is designed. It is gorgeous and all done in-house. Fourth, whether you are simply looking for a few pieces or looking to do your whole house you will be treated with respect and will be impressed with the price for the quality that you are receiving. By far the rudest customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered an entire house of fixtures and two leather chairs. One of the fixtures was missing a part and another was broken. For two weeks I tried to get both parts delivered to my installer, which by the way was two blocks from their office. One part made it but the other was sitting on their desk and the installer was expected to pick it up. After I have told them that the installer would not pick it up she kindly reminded me that it was sitting on the desk and hung up! blows my mind, there needs to be some housekeeping done with their sells agents! read more

Loved this store when we lived in the Bradenton area... moved to the Northeast and MISS this store! I'm now shopping online since I am unable to find a store in my area that offers the selection and customer service that I was spoiled with at Lyteworks. On numerous visits to the shop I worked with many of the staff to purchase lighting for the every room in our home. Entering a lighting store is sometimes a daunting experience, especially when purchasing multiple lights and being uncertain about LED fixtures. Not so at Lyteworks! What a wonderful and genuine welcome. David Moffatt, the store manager could not have been more helpful with us, going over every inch of our plan and helping us to select the right lights. He answered every question and then some. A shout out to Jeanine Reise, equally talented and knowledgeable who answered many more questions and helped with selections. We would not even think of going to any other lighting store. The inventory is exceptional, the prices are spot on, and the knowledge of the staff is remarkable. We might add that this is not just a lighting store, but a store filled with beautiful accessories, furnishings, mirrors, etc., which adds Tyler Henderson to the mix of talent at this store. His sense of beauty in design shows in every piece of furniture in the store. You need not feel intimidated by this store or anyone in it.
