He takes care of the routine mowing, edging and clean up on a 10-14 day rotation. In 2020, we changed out all the shrubs that had outgrown their place close to our home. Kornell was most helpful with picking out plants that were best suited for the space, pointing out the duration of sun in a particular place, potential growth of plants, all the things the majority of people don't think about. A few plants had to be relocated to another place on the property, he was happy to move them. This spring we wanted a portion of our front lawn resodded, of course we called Southside Lawn for the job. Our lawn looks amazing! Kornell is flexible to work with and helpful with all things lawn related. 15 very satisfied years of lawn care service!!

Where something had it and shattered. I called Kornell and informed him on what happened. I even texted him a picture. There was absolutely no communication from him. Also, the irrigation company came out about an hour ago and come to find out that I had a broken head again, where they damaged. So now I got a broken window and a busted sprinkler head that has to be replaced due to their incompetence. And make it so bad I was paying him an extra $25 every two weeks for them to walk my front yard to make sure that there were no sprinkler heads sticking up b4 they start cutting. The last cut, 17Jul, no one from the crew walked the front yard. I was watching them from a far. Now he has completely ghosted me. I texted him to inform that I will NO LONGER be using them at this address. $370. (Window) & $80. (Sprinkle head) later.

Smiles attempted to remove a tree near my and my neighbors property line. Before they began cutting…read moreI asked them to produce their permit for the removal of the tree (Required by law in Atlanta). When they failed to produce the permit I informed them they and/or my neighbor would be subject to a fine and weren't allowed to remove the tree. They chose to begin cutting the tree anyway at my neighbors behest, while I was still standing underneath the tree, so you can add reckless endangerment to the list of things they elected to do incorrectly. Awhile later I got to watch as they were escorted away by police after significant damage to the tree. In short, these folks are absolute clowns, don't know the legality of removing a tree near/on a property line, nor do they understand the permitting required for the area they service. Hire at your own risk.

The woman who we asked prices had no clue on any pricing and when we asked about magnolia trees we saw she said those were not for sale they were ordered for a coworker so we asked her if we could order 20 of them she said she had no idea and would ask her mother ... her mother was too busy to help us so her brother came over and we told him we would like to find out how to order 20 trees or som bushes and he basically had the same cluelessness on pricing and told us he was unsure about pretty much everything we asked about today... needless to say we left today feeling like we were unwanted there and no one wanted to be bothered or help us with our landscaping needs. He knows his craft, and he and his staff exact their efforts to the last detail. What's more, is Mr. Luna is just a nice man. He's straightforward, personable, a good listener, and cheerful. He'll tell you what's feasible and what's not. And you would be wise to take his advice. He knows his stuff. He and his crew do a lot more than water features--they do a lot of artistic landscaping and they'll even help you decorate for Christmas, if you're into that sort of thing. My family continues to call on Mr. Luna and his crew for yearly maintenance on our ponds. If you call him, tell him I said Hello.

We started Nature's Turf last fall. I think we have had 4 treatments or so. When we started in…read morethe Fall, our front yard was weed-free except for some pesky spurge along the driveway, and our backyard was covered about 1/3 with that invasive POA We had spent all last summer fighting it and hand digging it out. We researched the best way to eliminate it and learned using a specific type of pre-emergent (like Baricade or Dimension) is the best way. You can't buy those chemicals at Lowes/Home Depot and we didn't want to special order it and spend the winter applying it. So we called it Nature's Turf. Our neighbor across the street uses them and it was their tech who had told us what the weed was in our yard. We were very very very specific that the POA in the backyard was our #1 concern. We were assured they would be putting down pre-emergent chemicals to specifically target the POA. So Natures Turf started and we left them to it. We did notice the person they sent never ever spot treated (remember those pesky spurge weeds along the driveway?) -- his ticket always started he spot treated but I watched him every time he was here and he never did. Come the February Treatment (2/24) we notice the POA coming up everywhere in the backyard and see it is starting to creep into the front. And, there are now weeds in the front hard and along the front of the house at the street. I called to complain and I spoke with the Agronmist (sp) who told me they changed their formula for the pre-treatments this winter. They promised a service call in 10 days. So 10 days came and went and I called 3/6 and was told I was not on the schedule for a service call but they would get someone out. The guy came out on 3/14 when the temp was 30 degrees and spot sprayed with Negate 37WG for the POA in the backyard. The ticket also said he spotted treated in the front. Nope. I was home. No spot treatment in the front yard for pesky weeds along the driveway, street and front yard. On 3/28 we received a text from Nature's Turf they are planning a regular scheduled treatment the next day. We notice zero improvements in the health of the POA in the back and have the same weeds/same location in the front. We do note large areas of dormant grass in the back that looks like it has been injured. At this point we believe whatever they are using is ineffective on the POA/Weeds and potentially harmful to our dormant grass. Update: Nature's Turf Sent their Agronmist/Grass Expert to our house who was surprised at the amount of the POA in the backyard. There were a couple areas (very small) that looked a little yellow but we agreed this was likely from the below freezing cold temps/rain. He agreed the POA looked healthy. We talked about various options for getting rid of it if we took the project on ourselves and he suggested mixing two chemicals like Negate/Barricade together. He said Natures Turf would offer us a (1) Refund or (2) they would continue to try to work on the POA. I told him we would discuss and let them know - we were concerned if it was not properly addressed it would take over the front yard next. --- I called Natures Turf several days later and spoke to Cheryl. She informed me they had decided NOT to refund us because we have "too much POA". She refused to listen to the fact we were complaining the POA had not decreased any from their service and had almost doubled! She said our expectation is too high. She did not care we have the same weeds along the driveway and new front yard weeds after starting their service. She also told me she was denying the refund because we had used their service back in 2019 and had not been happy then. We had hired them in 2019 at another home to take care of newly laid zoysia sod that was having a hard time getting established. And she is right. We were not happy with their service and canceled. I don't recall any refund discussion. We just hired a different company (ABBEY) that did a terrific job for us. -- Not sure why the fact we gave them a second chance is pertinent

Local company that really treats us like neighbors. We have a few weed issues above and beyond some…read morelawns, they have done service calls and extra treatments to take care of the dove weed (very noxious weed). The techs are excellent as are the front office staff and the agronomist.
