I used YouTube to review what the repair involved, and realized it was beyond my ability to desire to do the repair. The same car had the same repair before, and the bill was $164; at first I thought the $661 was pretty expensive; then I noted that the $164 repair cost was in 2018, so the higher cost could be a reflection of the increased cost of EVERYTHING since then. When I politely raised this, the responses were snarky, sarcastic, (I think came from the owner himself) and rude. They said "look under the hood yourself" and "go to Kelly Hill". All customers, especially older women on fixed incomes, deserve basic respect and clear communication. Very disappointed. Rudeness and dismissive treatment from DeBroux hurt me deeply -- emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As an older single woman with limited support, being made to feel disrespected and like I had no right to ask for basic fairness or reliable service left me humiliated and drained, affecting my well-being and ability to show up fully for my patients and family. Since writing the above, I found a nice auto repair shop, with a very respectful owner, who told me "I didn't need to do any work now on it now". However, the other shop stated, when I"m ready (when the truck is giving me more problems), he would do the same work for 1/2 as much, saving me 1000 dollars. I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with. We were recommended to his shop by a friend, We took our vehicle to his shop for a heater core…read morereplacement. We were quoted a fair price and was told that it would take a day to finish. We dropped it off at 10:00 a.m. and when we called the next morning to pick up the vehicle the vehicle was not done. With it not being done we had to incur another day on the rental car. When we finally got to pick up our car he was still working on it and it was not done so we had to wait an additional hour at his shop. When we picked up our vehicle it was extremely dirty and wet from the heater core backflowing inside our vehicle. Our belongs from our dashboard glove box and our middle console were thrown around our vehicle in which they got dirty and wet. We had to call and message him to let him know that the glove box light was on constantly and the glove box was loose. Also our A/C unit was not blowing air out of the vent on the middle passenger side. We took it back to his shop for him to fix it however he fixed the glove box but broke the shut off switch to the a/c vent and now the vent blows air but we can not close it because he broke the lever that closes it. Our dashboard is loose and our cruise control doesn't work. We made him aware of the issues by text and voicemail message but it is very hard to get ahold of him.

Took it to the 9th ave location and was greeted by associate who got my car in and diagnosed within 15 minutes. Was even taken to the back and shown the bad parts (control arms) and how they were moving that caused wobble in the steering wheel (undeniable truth!) given the price (very reasonable) and the price to do both sides. Was able to afford one side at a time and they worked with me!! Thankful they are honest because I have out of state plates and a shiny red camero SS Their honesty in price and their quality of service is impeccable!!! Highly recommended!
