No regard for customer safety regarding the pandemic…read more So arrogant and unconcerned that when going into a business that requires masks, they did not wear them. A tow truck driver, and a man who said he was the owner, both were not wearing mask. This took place in a busy gas station/convenience store. Employee safety, customer safety and the safety of their community does not seem to be their priority or concern when it comes the pandemic. Anyone who is concerned about the spread of Covid or those who are in the high risk category, I suggest calling someone else for a tow. Disobeying the Minnesota state mandate makes one wonder what other mandates, safety protocols and laws they could be ignoring.

I thought, nah, I will be alright, I can take it in tomorrow if it happens again. Fast forward another mile, I am pulled over calling roadside service because my car is now making a bizarre sound and shifting weird. I sort out everything with RA and they text me that Statewide is coming to get me and drop my car off at the dealer (yes, the one my dumb arse passed earlier). He showed up within 20 minutes, packed it up like a champ, had a lively conversation in the cab (again, saving me from a total tear fest - who needs car trouble), dropped it in the dealership parking lot like a champ (no scrapes, scratches, damage, just parked neatly like it never happened), and waited for me to fill out my key drop ticket. I have worked with a couple towing companies in the past, but the passion with which Statewide Towing showed for serving its customers tonight won them a spot in my favorites/contact list. I pray I never see Allen again under bad circumstances, but I am happy to know if I need Statewide Towing again, they will be there and ready to roll. Outstanding job! I usually talk to the older gentleman and he is always super nice and attentive and keeps me updated on any issues, if any. Every time we use Mark's towing they get out to our drivers super fast and are able to get down any back roads we send them to.

Went to my grandfather's funeral, and when I got back, my car was towed by this scammy company…read more AFTER the Uber drops me off, the crabby, rude old lady at the front desk informs me I can only pay cash to get my vehicle out for $500!!! I'm already crying because I'm stressed about the funeral, and scared being in this city alone when my home is 3 hours away. Only accepting cash is a huge red flag, but to make it even better, they don't have an ATM! So, crying, I have to call another uber to take me to an atm to get cash and back to the tow yard. Upon paying the $500 extortion fee, I discover I dropped my car keys in the uber. Now I'm really crying because it just has been a really bad day. I have to call Uber and pay them for the driver's phone number to then pay him to drive my keys back to the tow yard. The crabby, horrible-excuse-for-a-human being at the front desk sees me crying and calling the uber driver, and gleefully sings out to me that if the driver isn't there by 6:00 pm with my keys(it's 5:30 pm) that I will not be able to get my car because she is closing and it will be an additional $65 to get tomorrow. I am STRANDED at this place, three hours from my home, out of money with no place to go, and she could see how scared and upset I was, but she found it pleasurable to add to my distress by being a horrible, evil human being. What kind of person does that? Yep, I made a mistake in my time of shock and sorrow, got my car towed, and paid over $700 rectifying it. But to be treated the way that old lady treated me and to be mocked and laughed at during something so stressful and scary is a testament to what kind of company this is. Thankfully the uber driver arrived 5 minutes before they closed. Now all I can do is spend my long drive home praying that the rude, empathy-lacking old lady at the front desk receives everything she deserves in this lifetime and the next one.
