Most notably was the practice of "bait and switch" and "sales packing". When we called them out on their deceptive sales practice and attempted to leave, two of the salesman became very agitated. The sales manager approached me in a very aggressive manner. He was very angry and shouting. He screamed that he didn't want me for a customer anyways. He then quickly went over to the salesman's desk, tore up the sales paperwork and threw it across the room.

Rather than taking care of it, and of me, they told me to take it to a dealer in my own town. One would like to imagine, now in their third generation of auto sales, the Damsons would understand the importance of customer service and satisfaction. I called…read moreand inquired about a Sterling tow truck, the Salesman and I agreed on a price he sent me a bill of sale. I signed it and returned it along with the documents he requested stating I would send a driver with a check the following day. I made arrangements with a driver and thought we were all set. Later that day I received a call stating I don't own the truck because someone else put a deposit on it later that day. I was very confused because I was not asked to make a deposit I was told the truck was mine come get it. I had driver in route to pick up funds to go get the truck the next day and take it to my store in Ga. I asked the salesman why the other guy gets the truck when I committed first he stated it was because of the deposit. I would have made a deposit if I had been asked to. Then he proceeds to tell me he has another truck he can sell me, I told him sell it to the guy who committed after me. This is not the way to do business! Buyer beware if you are out of state or the area realize you might be wasting time and money going on a goose chase because a bill of sale and their word mean nothing!
