What do you want if we fill your tank up you're going to get a better price instead of just saying it is $3.10 a gallon. I would rate them the same as I would rate AmeriGas horrible. It started off poorly when the technician said our propane tank regulator was broken and they could not fill up until it was repaired. It had been working before. We should have found someone else right away, but paid for the new part to be installed and it was over $200. So we got propane through them but weren't happy with the price and some of their add-on charges, so we contacted their management and we terminated our contract when they wouldn't adjust the price and our bill for the undisclosed charges. They responded by coming out and filling up our tank at the end of the year 2018. We contacted them again and told them we did not want their service and had in fact contacted our new company, who came out and found it already full. So I thought it was over finally when we paid them until they did it again this past December. They left no notice they were there and sent us an invoice 2 months later with late charges. Apparently this is their tactic to maximize their revenue at the end of the year. The price per gallon was $2.09, which wasn't that bad, but we have another propane company and they are pissing them off by this practice of poaching their clients. I don't want to do business with them and have told the general manager already years ago. Avoid these guys - they are unethical. They should be reported to BBB.

Normally propane prices are similar to local gas prices in the area, but today the price literally double from $2.22 to $4.09. I recached out to my neighbors to see if they were experiencing the same issue with purchasing from this company they said no, they paid around $2.22 per gallon, likewise I recached out to some local propane technicians in my area who also confirmed a similar the rate, of about $2.00 per gallon which is also the price of local gas in my area Hockley TX. I reached back out to Suburban Propane and asked why I was being charged double the rate of local gas for which they were unable to provide an explanation for the significantly increased rate. It's really frustrating bc as we know price gauging is common during the winter especially around the holidays! I'm very disappointed and frustrated with their service at this point and hope that more people will come forward and report this type of legal misconduct as it effect me and my entire family if we want to have heat and hot water for the winter, SHAME ON YOU SUBURBAN PROPANE for taking advantage of your hard working paying customers.

From the first contact I was assured they could install my new tank and service even though the property was challenging. They delivered beyond my expectations then. Today they delivered service again I rarely see around Coldspring. I recently added a propane fireplace. The pilot would not light. I called them just to see if they could recommend someone. They cared enough to call me back 3 times and stated they would have a tech stop by to assist. WOW! They had someone by within a couple hours. No charge! Now that's what I'm talking about.
