AVOID! This is my first yelp review but I wish I had read the ones from others before spending money here. I'll do my best to keep this short but I'm honestly beyond angry. I currently go to A&E for laser hair removal. Back in November one of the technicians hit my tattoo with the laser and it has caused fading around the edge. That was 10 months ago and it took me calling multiple times and mentioning it at every appt I've had since then for me to get an answer on what would happen. They agreed to pay for it and asked for quotes. I got three quotes and had told the manager twice what they were. My appt to get my tattoo fixed is this coming Sunday so at my last laser appt I asked if I was fronting the cost and getting reimbursed or getting a check to pay for it. The manager had to talk to her boss and was going to call me. I called two additional times before reaching her, for her to tell me I had to come in and sit down with her boss. Today was that appt to sit with him. I had met him once before when I signed up for laser hair removal and didn't care for him. He seemed like a sleazy car sales man but I was 18 and wanted this done (I had gone somewhere else when I was 16 that closed up shop without notice). He came in and was rude. He immediately took a condescending tone with me and acted as if the fading was barely noticeable. Then he told me to get an actual written quote and email it in. So what did I come in for??? He most definitely could've saved me the gas and told me over the phone. Additionally I'm 22 this month, I've been getting laser hair removal since I was 16 and still have to shave every other day. It's thinner than it was but their advice was to turn up the laser level. So I did. It literally burnt my bikini area, it was so painful, but still no change in results. And some other have mentioned it too but I think I've had a different tech almost every time I've been in. Just avoid. If not for your wallet, then for your self respect. read more

I have had adult Cystic Acne for the past 6 yrs & tried everything from proactive, to every creme, prescription ointment, and anything else my doctors & dermatologist recommended with little to no results. My acne would be minimized only to come back a few weeks later and worse. It is very painful, very hard to have this on my face, and hurts my self esteem. Upon the recommendation of a friend with a similar issue, I tried A&E. I was skeptical and extremely frustrated by this time. Well I have had 4 treatments (one each month), my acne is 85% gone. In between treatments the acne has not returned. My skin has never looked so clear and beautiful. I get so many compliments and I can once again enjoy life with out feeling like people are staring at me. I am so so happy. I love the staff at A&E, especially my technician. The procedure is a laser therapy can't think of the exact name but if you have this problem call A&E and they can guide you. It is an easy proceedure and does not hurt. I had no side effects except my face was slightly red after which went away in less than an hour. I am super happy with the results. Thank you to the caring and wonderful staff at A&E. Oh my goodness.....i think we should picket this place..well , check this out...So, i purchased a gift certificate for my friend coming up from florida. 600.00$... so when she arrived , i figured that she could treat herself to a day of beauty or whatever.. she went in and decided to get some botox...Nope, JOESPH FIERRO said..'oh no!! YOU CANT USE THIS GIFTCERTIFIC HERE....Not on Botox.. What , i said...its a giftcard..i paid cash for it... Nope...He wouldnt honor it...thats so messed up...And to the women who got the botox and didnt see any change , nor did it last,...thats because their adding too mucvh water when they mix it, so they dont use as much...look at the nurse who does the injection...Her face is so tight...mine Never looked like that after going there..nother thing...The nurse is behind me mixing the botox...im trying to watch what shes doing....so i whole heartedly thing shes stealing the rest...i said to her"moneys no object, make my forehead look like your" Nope and it never did...Run run away from this place.....one more thing...Joesph Fierro Also, without my permission used my debit card to overcharge me, no warning...bounced 2 of my checks......beware!!!!!! Was referred to A&E for my thinning hair by my previous hair dresser about 8 years ago and been going since. They have a seperate room for men to wait in and also private treatment rooms for monthly maintenance. The Staff diagnosed my issue quickly and also helped prevent me from having further hair loss. Have had a couple surgical procedures to replace my hair in areas that were getting pretty thin. Otherwise to maintain, it is just like getting a regular hair cut anywhere else. I trust their caring staff and have developed a long term relationship with my technician. My hair is as thick as it was when I was a teen and very easy to maintain. It looks very natural and was painless. Had at one point looked into other establishments in the area offering these services but they were franchises or fly by night operations open one year and closed the next. They are the experts in hair replacement and have been doing it for decades. Plus they have always worked with what I wanted to spend and once I took advantage of the financing. I have been going there twice a week for a little over 2 months for body-reshaping cellulite reducing treatments. It is a clean and well-appointed center with knowledgable and friendly staff. I have never been treated with anything less than respect and courtesy. And I am already starting to see significant results from the treatments. I have recommended A & E to friends and family which is a huge testament to the quality of treatment I have received there. read more

I have been to A@E a total of 4 times as of yesterday...1st three times was for lip augmentation, very pleased...lately I have not been happy with the newly forming lines around my mouth that seemed to creep on me the past few months...Ill be 36 in November...I went yesterday and with one syringe of Juvederm I feel and look great. Yes, it is quite busy in the office, I was overlooked and several patients were taken before myself, however; such a great job was done I have no complaints and will certainly return again... read more

Just signed up with A & E. I was very hesitant b/c of the mixed reviews, but my experience has been great so far - so I wanted to let people know. Joseph who I believe is the manager, spent plenty of time with me explaining things so I felt comfortable. He gave me more than what was advertised, and his price was fair. He also got me in that same day when I asked how soon the service could start. That was unexpected and great! Not sure how the outcome will be, but so far so good. read more

I have been going to A&E for skin tightening and hair removal procedures for a few months. The Staff is knowledgeable, professional and caring. I love the results I am seeing already! Would highly recommend this place. I have had Kristen and Heidi as my technicians. Both are gentle and very pleasant nice. I recently went to A&E and NYS Surgery Center for a consultation for laser hair removal. From the start, I was very impressed. The male consultant was very pleasant and professional -- and very informative. I had many questions, and he answered them all to my satisfaction. Love love love this place. I feel SO much better about how I look. I had a number of treatments: botox, laser hair removal, and skin tightening. Hey, no one can promise you miracles -- and I'm not saying my improvement could be compared to going from being a bag lady to Marilyn Monroe -- but there has definitely been improvement. I tried laser hair hair removal a few years ago at a different place and got NO results. Now, I can say it actually works - as long as you go to A and E. The staff is really nice, and most importantly, they know what they're doing. They explained that the laser that was used on me before wasn't right for my skin color. After just two treatments, I'm experiencing results, and less hair growth. I'm a happy client! read more

I saw their TV ads on all the time, so decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. Went a few times for laser hair removal, and it always went well. I thought the technicians who treated me were nice. I didn't give them 5 stars, because I'm going back for some different kinds of treatments . We'll see how that goes. Joseph was really straight forward answering all my questions, even though I came with many silly ones. And the girls I met there at the reception, so nice, so professional. I've gone to A & E for quite a while now (years). They always treat me right. I like the woman technician that does my treatments (mostly laser hair removal). It's a professional looking place, with nice people. There is a physician who supervises certain medically-based treatments. I have recommended this place to friends. read more
