My experience with A&F Towing was excellent from start to finish. The tow was initiated through AAA. I was contacted immediately by A&F's office to let me know they were handling the tow and to provide me with a target arrival time. They handily beat the target arrival time. The driver, Juan, was experienced and knowledgeable. I was concerned as the car being towed was a collectable. Watching Juan's expertise quickly put me at ease. My ride to the destination with Juan was actually enjoyable as Juan was friendly and personable. My car was gently handled and safely unloaded at the destination. The day after the tow, A&F Towing called to ensure everything was in order and that I was pleased with the service. It's a towing company. What else I can say. Lady on the phone was nice. Guy I spoke to was a big A-hole. While I was in the hospital. I gave my pregnant sister my CC with a signed and notarized emergency court issued release to give access for her to use my card and pick up my vehicle. While I was on the phone. I highly recommend everyone stay away from this towing company!!! I had a blow out on the freeway yesterday, called AAA and A & F Towing was dispatched. A & F Towing never called, texted nor let me know they were not going to help me while I waited for over an hour on the freeway. I clicked on the link three times. The first time it showed their tow truck driver being 40 minutes away. The second time it showed 7-9 minutes away. The third time I clicked on the link to see how far away their tow truck driver was, it showed the link as "unavailable". They cancelled the tow truck dispatch without even mentioning anything to me!! Unbelievable!! Luckily, right after finding out that link to see how far the driver was no longer active, a Metro Freeway driver pulled over and promptly installed my spare tire. He told me, "Of course the tow truck driver shows up when I am almost done." When I asked him where the tow truck driver is, he replied, "He drove off." I even tried to give this Metro Freeway driver a $20.00 bill tip and he said, "Thank you but we are not allowed to take any tips." He was helpful, communicative and polite! I never received any communication nor help from A & F Towing until today when I got their text a little while ago asking how their service was today. Wrong day first of all!! A & F Towing was no help at all yesterday nor today!! I received a text message this afternoon from A & F Towing asking how their service today was (A day later! What a joke!) and when I texted back to describe what happened, the manager immediately called me, got defensive right away and asked, "What did my driver do wrong?" No apology nor sincerity from this manager for making me wait all that time with no assistance, explanation on what happened or what did not happen. If A & F Towing's manager is unprofessional, gives attitude, cares more about their company and drivers than helping people in their time of need, no wonder their tow truck driver does not care. Lead by example, not with an attitude. Avoid this company like the plague!!! read more

Tango aka Mohammad and X-ray are the kindest people I ever encountered! Today Tango helped me out with replacing my battery! He tested my battery and alternator. He pointed out that I needed to change the alternator and he still warranty my battery. He went beyond and above with the service into recommending to an a autoshop. Called AAA service for help. Sent A&F Towing, upon arrival the driver made every excuse to not take my vehicle (too big, it's commercial, etc). How bout just LAZY. I have a personal vehicle Mercedes Sprinter Passenger Van NOT COMMERCIAL, AAA approved the tow and now I have to wait more hours for service. Even the gas station tech here said the tow truck driver was just looking for money. If people would just do their job, I wouldn't be in this mess. Don't sign up to be a service provider with AAA if you don't want to tow. Avoid A&F Towing and you won't get the run around. read more

Contacted AAA for a towing service, they sent A&F. Juan arrived at the scene and right away said he was not going to be able to take the car due to not having any room to back up his truck. We explained we were not able to move it out due to a dead battery. Juan had an attitude and made excuse after excuse about not being able to take the car. Granted we did not have a permit we did not know we needed to get the vehicle towed. He very rudely said to get in contact with AAA-so I did. As I'm on the phone with AAA he slowly backs away and gets in his truck. He sits in there for about 3 minutes while I'm hold with a dispatcher and then took off! He did not say a word about leaving and left us stranded there. Only reason they get 1 star is because a day later, we got the required permit and called AAA once more. Once again A&F was called and a different driver was sent out. It was night a day between both drivers. Wish we would've gotten his name but this gentleman was very informative and helpful. read more
