I am submitting this report regarding my personal belongings being withheld by A&G Towing located at 3616 W Nielsen Ave Fresno CA 93706. On 03/25/2026 my vehicle was towed from my work parking lot while I was clocked in and had no prior notice or opportunity to secure my personal belongings. I contacted A&G Towing to retrieve my personal belongings inside the vehicle and was instructed by a female employee to come on 03/27/2026 at 2:00 PM to pick them up. When I arrived a male employee brought my items out but did not identify himself and appeared to intentionally hide his face. When I asked for his name the female employee stated his name was "Jose," which I do not believe is accurate. When I asked the female employee for her name she stated "Reyna," which is my name, and refused to provide her actual identity. I believe this was intentional and constitutes unauthorized use of my name and misleading conduct and I have audio recording of this interaction as evidence. While my purse and wallet were in A&G Towing's possession two unauthorized charges were made on my credit card which raises serious concerns regarding access to and handling of my personal property. When I asked the male employee who had access to my vehicle or whether anyone could have used my credit card he immediately became aggressive, hostile, and confrontational. He told me to leave the property and stated that he would not return my belongings to me. He then took all of my items back onto the property, shut the gate, and locked me out while stating that I would not be allowed to return to retrieve them. Both employees refused to provide accurate identifying information and stated they were going to keep my property despite my lawful request to retrieve it. I called 911 from the location to report my belongings as stolen after they refused to release them as previously instructed. Despite this report my belongings have still not been returned to me. My vehicle contains approximately 100 personal items belonging to myself and my five year old daughter including my wallet credit cards identification Social Security card laptop medication medical records and numerous other valuable and sensitive items. Additionally employee Gabriel Defonseka attempted to force me to sign paperwork stating that my items had been released to me before allowing me to verify or physically receive them. When I requested to review my belongings especially due to the fraudulent charges that occurred while my items were in their possession he became visibly angry and stated that I would not receive anything unless I signed documentation confirming all items were returned even though they had not been released to me. I refused to sign under these conditions as it would have been false documentation. I am requesting assistance in recovering my property and formally documenting this incident including the refusal to return my belongings potential unauthorized use of my credit card unauthorized use of my name by an employee and coercion to sign inaccurate paperwork. I am also formally raising concerns regarding what appears to be unlawful unethical and potentially fraudulent business practices by A&G Towing. There are multiple similar complaints from other customers reporting missing personal property and difficulty retrieving belongings which suggests a pattern of misconduct involving mishandling or withholding of customer property. In addition I experienced extremely hostile unprofessional and aggressive behavior from staff which escalated an already serious situation and made me feel unsafe. I respectfully request a full investigation into this matter as these actions may violate California laws governing towing companies and the protection of personal property. I am requesting the immediate return of all belongings disclosure of all individuals who had access to my vehicle while it was in their custody and full accountability for any unauthorized activity including fraudulent charges. I am also seeking compensation for damages financial loss emotional distress and hardship caused by this situation. Due to A&G Towing's refusal to return my purse and essential belongings including money debit cards credit cards cell phone laptop and other necessary items my daughter and I have been unable to purchase food water or basic necessities and I am currently unable to work as I rely on my laptop to perform my job duties which has caused loss of income and employment instability. This situation has created severe ongoing hardship disruption and distress for both myself and my child. I am requesting immediate resolution accountability and appropriate compensation for all damages incurred as a result of this incident. read more

In conclusion, I strongly advise against engaging with A&G. Their predatory tactics and lack of transparency make them a prime example of a towing service to avoid. Aside from my personal use of this company in the past, their positive involvement in the community and the video the have of the incident, you need to get a life. Your authority as a meter maid is not all encompassing. You seem to be an angry, unhappy soul and I pray you get some help. Also you are violating your code of conduct and you will probably find your anger only damages you. These guys are great. I used them just yesterday and sent them to help with a boat in Fresno and they didn't cuss at me even once. It's nice to be able to count on someone when you are not there to get things done right. In fact they rendered assistance to our charity without any charge, in the rain and mud. Show a little more respect to people and keep your imagination to yourself. My mom has used them over 5 times since she has bad luck with cars and all of the men were helpful and even gave my mom a ride home. I've also used them on multiple occasions and I've experienced nothing but great service and the show up super fast! I've met about 3-4 of their drivers and man! They are all super helpful on what could be wrong with our cars and have helped us connect with great mechanics and repair shops. read more

I have used this tow company many times at emergency notice for my company vehicles. They never make me wait longer than 40 min before someone is dispatched out to get my Van's. They haul our heavy duty fully stocked commercial plumbing Van's and go above and beyond for me multiple times. They even went as far as visalia to bring a van back local. Thanks to A & G. I contacted this company and they were amazing! They showed up fast, even helped remove my groceries and put them into the tow truck. They were fast at hooking my car up.
