I had #1 wire and it was clean and they had the audacity to sell it to me for #2 wire prices. Literally losing half the money. Don't go here they rip people off. They are scammers. I simply asked him to change it and first he tried to lie to me saying it's insulated and that's the price for insulation. Then I told him yes it's insulated but it's #1 copper. Then he was like no #1 is non insulated. Then I said no it's #1 INSTULATED copper. So he went to check some paper and came back with some bs excuse that because there's a couple connectors in the bunch that he's going to sell it to me at #2 wire prices. I have a video of the wire I had and it's nice and clean. Theres no way it shoudve been soled to me for $1.69!! The guy with the safety glasses is a loser and has nothing better to do but to try to rip off people who genuinely are there to get quality customer service and quality prices that live around the area. So since I knew he was scamming me and I told him to give me back my wire back & he said it was too late after he took off like five connectors. I'm not the type of person to argue, but I will leave a review for people to know not to go here. What a loser. I REPEAT DO NOT RECYCLE HERE. LET THEM GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR BEING SCAMMING LOSERS!! The employee knowingly labeled my load as plastic instead of aluminum, and I was only paid $11.32 for it -- a huge underpayment worth more than $30 in lost value. The receipt (Ticket #233607) clearly shows "#1 Plastic (PETE)" even though my material was aluminum cans. It felt intentional, not a mistake. I've filed a complaint with CalRecycle for investigation.
