The wheel bearing went on my truck as I was travelling on I-80 from New Hampshire to Ohio. I got off the highway and looked for garages nearby. I found Taylor's and called them. A ramp truck was there in about ten minutes, loaded the truck and dropped me of at a local motel. The next morning, Lucas sent an estimate for the repair and thought he have the truck ready by 2:30 P.M. Lucas later called and told me t that he was unable to save the caliper and would have to order and install a new one. I contacted Lyft and scheduled a ride to the garage at 1:30. At about 2:30 with no sign of the Lyft driver, a employee at the motel gave me a ride to the garage. they screwed me over & refused a tow because i had my truck listed on fb & didnt know all the aaa rules & needed towed to my new residence & they got aaa to reject me & leave me stranded & had no right to do w/out finding out the dam "truth!" this company sux anywhere & everywhere is better then here by far dont even waste your time!!! read more

Took my car to the Toyota dealership for a recall, oil change, and state inspection. Dealer said it needed $3500 in repairs to pass inspection. On my push back, they said $3k would cover it but the rear brakes would need to be replaced soon. Called Taylor's (my usual mechanic)... told them the things the dealership said it needed. Lucas asked if he could take a look at it because he was quite certain he had replaced the brakes only 12k miles ago and told me most of the other things sounded a bit like BS upcharges. Brought the car in to Taylor's and was told it needed some work to pass inspection, but only HALF the work as the dealership said and at a total cost of less than 1/3rd of the estimate from the dealer! Taylor's is a pleasure to work with, always professional, and they don't look at every customer like they are a sucker walking in to buy them their next vacation or boat. Our RV broke down on our way to NJ. We had to limp into a motel where we stayed the night. The next morning I started calling shop after shop for someone to fix a spark plug that blew through the cylinder head. Every place including Taylor's Garage would not look at it. But after speaking with Lucas he said I could bring it in and they would take a look. We were under a tight schedule and even though he said they were very busy he would do his best to fit us in. In two days they had our RV back up and running and advised us on other repairs that we should do once back home. The RV made it home safely and we really appreciated Lucas for accepting the work and getting it done right and in a timely manner. For us Taylor's Garage was a blessing and would highly recommend!!! I brought my Toyota in to fix a few things that needed taken care of before winter. I was told by another garage it would cost a fortune to fix and they left me in the dark as to what the estimate would be and when they would be able to fix it. After leaving it go for a couple months, I finally called Taylor's to give me a second opinion. Within a couple hours at their Milton shop, the mechanic knew exactly how to fix the issue and said it would be done by the end of the day at very reasonable price. Not only was I excited to get the job done in great timing, but the mechanic also patched up my front bumper at no additional cost. He was very pleasant and made me feel right at home. These people took $300 of my dollars and said they were doing me a favor. My car was stuck in a parking lot and we towed it to their garage, the tow truck company costed $90. Then when we called the garage we told them the alternator wasn't working and they said okay they'll look at it. They called us the next morning and said "we changed the battery, your car is ready to go". I was annoyed because we told them that it was the alternator and they still fixed the battery and charged us $200 for it. Which is something I could have done at auto zone for cheaper! The next day the car dies again and gets stuck in another parking lot, after paying $200 that I don't have I felt like I just wasted money that was supposed to go towards bills. So we called this garage again and they said they would tow it for us. They towed it for us, kept the car for two days and did ABSOLUTELY NO WORK ON THE CAR. They give the car back to us and charge us $105 for the tow. This place is a scam and I will NEVER EVER go back for ANYTHING. I should have listened to the 2.5 stars that they already had, but I let my boyfriend take care of it so I didn't even check. I'm disgusted and I'm now down $300, with a car that's not properly fixed. This deserved 0 stars!!! read more

Had a trailer tire blowout on I-80. Called AAA but didn't have RV coverage. AAA gave me the phone number to Taylor's Garage. I told them my location and situation. I did not know I was only 2.4 miles from their garage or I would have just drove it there. They came out and picked up the trailer. I drove to there shop (learning it was 2.4 miles). Went in to the office gave her my information. Asked if there was anything else I needed to do and can I go. She said I was good so I left. The owner called a half hour later and asked where I went. I was well on my way back home and told him I thought I was done. We talked about the work to be done. I asked for two tires and one rim. A woman called two days later to say the trailer was done. I asked how much. I was told the precise amount but almost $350. Told them I would be there the next day. I came with my $350 but now it was $550? What the heck! They said the didn't put towing in there of $195 for 2.4 miles. The other office woman came over and said ohh I gave you the price without towing. The one woman went out and had it reduced by $50. I went out to the trailer. They changed two rims instead of just one. They charged me for two tire disposals when one of the tires was still on the rim they returned. I hate writing bad reviews, but this one I feel needs to be a wake up call for other consumers in the Susquehanna Valley. I was stuck along the road and needed a towing service. Taylors was contracted to be my towing company. They did get there on time-I give them that-but the driver-Brent was not kind at all towards my father. He was aggressive and said we paid him cash for the extra milage since we are on a "classic" AAA plan or he leaves. He threatened to leave us in out in a limited no cell area with no towing company to assist us. Luckily, my father had money to supply him, but it was very unprofessional how he went about it. He could have it least been kind about it. Not to mention, it was very sketchy how he went about the situation and we noticed no AAA certified garage sticker on the side of the cab. Just be aware folks in the valley-look out for these guys...a little sketchy and not the most kind. I wouldn't run my business like that. read more

I had a car that I bought two years ago, and did not have a shift knob, I had to shift it by pulling up in the shift lock manually and then pulling it into gear. I had to have my car towed and showed the guy how to lift the shift lock and shift it, and it worked... When my car got towed, it showed up with the shift lock broken off, and the owner gave me a line if BS, never once admitting that his driver snapped off the shift lock... And they left my car in neutral. Because they were unable to shift it into park because they broke it off... I had been shifting my car for 2 years with the method I showed the first tow guy, yet the owner never took blame for what happened... Disspicable customer service, and horrible morals of the owner! Just admit when you are wrong and appologize! read more
