Abi and his team are truly professionals in their field. They constructed a covered patio and outdoor kitchen for me and it could not have turned out more beautiful. Abi and his father were extremely professional, knowledgable and paid close attention to detail in the repair of the mortar cracks on our stone home. He showed up on the same day for estimating the project and they were prompt on the day of the repair. There was great communication with my husband and I as to what work was being performed and they stayed late and finished in one day even though they expected the work to take two. We have already requested that he quote another project because we are very pleased with his work. They are great workers and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing masonry work. read more

Abi and the A&J Masonry team are excellent. We had to repair the cast stone arch over our two-story front porch in our 20 yr old home, but discovered it needed to be fully reconstructed. Abi explained what needed to be done to make it safe and secure, and the team did a beautiful job. They also repaired mortar cracks around our stone home with great care and attention to detail. They pride themselves in complete customer service and are among the best we have encountered. From beginning to end - quote to clean-up - they provided great quality of work, communication, service, and follow-through. They are very responsible and ensured that we were satisfied at every step in the process. We highly recommend Abi and team. read more

Abi and his crew just completed the installation of a 300 sq. ft stone facade above my garage. They did a superb job at a reasonable price. I was worried about the new stone matching existing stone on another area of the front. No problem...Abi and his brother spent time visiting stone yards in the Austin area to find the perfect match. Great communication throughout the process. The crew's work was terrific; you cannot tell that the new stone was added 10 years after the original stone work! Abi was responsive, most helpful in offering ideas, and always willing to work with me. Abi was always professional, exceedingly approachable, and committed to great customer service. Excellent work completed by caring professionals. One last note: while I usually seek multiple bids for any project, I did not with this one. Everything I thought and hoped would happen...did...When you find someone like Abi...you know. Quality guy...quality crew. read more

Established in 2013.

We began in 1976 as Rodriguez Masonry in Brownsville Tx, we began expanding to the point that my father had over thirty employees, working in commercial and residential jobs. While teaching his kids, such as myself Abioham, the art of masonry. A & J Masonry is now a small family business, that service Austin and surrounding areas. We’ve done small work like repairing damaged mortar joints, to helping build the Amazon fulfillment center in San Marcos, Tx. We’re passionate about masonry and, servicing the customers needs We work with our customers to fulfill their vision when it comes to stone,stucco, brick, and block.

My name is Abioham, I’ve been in the area of masonry for about 9years. I worked for residential companies till I was about 19years old. I started working in commercial masonry starting with the Austin airport project in 2011, where I learned with great detail how to read a blueprint and lead a crew to make a drawing a reality. In 2013 I started working in and created A & J Masonry along with my dad (“Jesus” the J )in A & J Masonry.

They quit making the style of brick we had, but 4GM matched it up with something very close. When we sold the house in 2020, the realtors didn't even notice the work until we disclosed it in the paperwork. When we inventoried all the repairs and touchups over the years, the brickwork from 4GM was the best bang for the buck by far.

Back in Oct, William was abled to hand-pull all the weeds in my backyard and mow my lawn in preparation for the winter. He had made sure there's no grass clippings leftover as I was allergic to Bermuda grass so his service was helpful for my health. Initially, did an amazing job and was going to be my go-to lawn guy once the grass is growing again the Spring. Recently for the Spring, I asked him for the same service, weed removal (expecting hand-pulled like last time), lawn mowing, and pre-emergent weed treatments. Total cost was $170 but I gave him $200 especially for gas prices and he had to go pick up supplies. Well, he weed whacked everything instead and it splatter all over the white painted sidings of the new house. He offered to pressure wash and clean the sidings from the mess he created. He also offered to put down additional weed treatment to help control the weeds. He was late for the original Spring service (after I asked him to push the service an hour later). He was a no-show on Saturday to cleaning up weed clippings splattered over the sidings. I had to call him multiple times and he said his customer unexpectedly requested mulch installation and said he can come by at 8am on Sunday. Today, He was a no-show today. I had to call him and he woke up at 10am. He was still a no show after multiple calls. Very disappointed. I wasted almost half my day waiting. Lots of excuses. I understand life happens but lack of communication and method of weed removal was the final straw. Off to continue to find my go-to lawn service person. Initial service in Oct 2025 was 5/5. Follow-up Mar 2026 service 2/5. Do not recommend.

After being a no show I get an email saying they didn't make it out, which happens. But instead of coming out the next day, they come out three days later. When I get home later that day I see some work has been done. Large patches of grass were missed all over, what was cut is very uneaven, there is trash laying around in my yardbthay was hit by a lawnmower but just left there, leaves and branches are still everywhere, and when I checked my yard cameras I see leaves we're just blown off into my neighbors yards, for which I am responsible for and have to make appologies for and clean up. So when I contacted The Green Dude about a $100 invoice for this mess, this was the response: "You are right it was not our best work and I apologize if the leaves got blown on the neighbor's lawn. Please take a $20 discount on this invoice." No offer to come out and fix it, the mess is still there and I am still being charged $80, plus need to go fix it myself, along with my neighbor's yards, or spend even more money to have someone come do it. I am very sorry, but I cannot recommend The Green Dude after this. You are better off finding a kid that can use $20 and hire them for this kind of results.

He literally transformed the outside appearance of the house. He was consistently present on-site and the job was done in a very timeously manner. A&J Masonry did a fantastic job fixing an archway over our front door. The brick and mortar had started to break and look like it was going to collapse. They explained why it was happening and what needed to be done. They properly repaired the issue and even set up scaffolding to protect that area while the metal plates were being fabricated. I highly recommend them for any brick or masonry project you might have. read more
