I already had an initial quote for repairs, but my insurance company wanted a second one. Not having dealt with an insurance claim I really didn't know where to start. It was important for me to ensure that I find a company that will get the work done, correctly. Based on multiple positive reviews I called to receive an estimate. Laurie was just great. She took her time, answered all my questions and laid out how they will get the repairs done. Then she scheduled our inspection/estimate. Pawel (Paul) came to the house to survey the damages. I was at work and my wife was at home. Pawel took his time, let my wife get me on the phone and answered all our questions. Pawel is a true gentleman and was very respectful of our time and property. I had a detailed estimate within 48 hours of Pawel's departure. Of course, waiting on the insurance company to go through their internal process was a pain, but Laurie maintained contact and did not pressure us in getting them there any sooner. As soon as our settlement was in Laurie was able to get us right onto the schedule. On the day of work the B&B Siding Team showed up at 7:45am with an army. Needed an entire new roof w/ shingles and rafter/structure/soffit and siding repairs. 6.5 hours later and I had a new roof! Weather delayed the gutter team but they again showed up as rescheduled and both Pawel and Laurie kept me apprised every step of the way. I have a full enclosed gutter and Pawel made sure the gutter install team was aware of that. Money well spent! The day before he was supposed to come a woman called and canceled. She told me Muhammad would call back in a few days and he never did. I left voicemails with him and he never called back. I called another gutter place and they fixed the gutters and downspout and even cleaned them out to fix the problem. He told me that it was strange he asked for a deposit for gutters. Now I leave messages about getting it back and nobody calls back. One time the voicemail said he was out of the country. Very unprofessional and surprised they actually called to cancel. Beware.

Before starting the job, they conducted a detailed evaluation of the roof and did the same once the work was complete, to make sure everything was done right from start to finish. They also brought in a licensed electrician to properly disconnect and reinstall my solar panels, and thoroughly tested them afterward to confirm everything was working correctly. In addition to the roof, they rebuilt my chimney and installed beautiful new 6" gutters -- the whole property looks fantastic. What really stood out was how flexible and fair they were during negotiations. We worked together to agree on a contract that worked for both of us, including a 50-year extended material warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty. Having to replace an entire roof including structural repairs of its wooden beams, new insulation, and re-bricking of the upper portion of the chimney was a major undertaking. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. He also did this all in a upscale looking brown that gave my house a more chic look. He was great with communication. Fast forward 6 years and I had some other siding contractor remove my downspouts and did not secure them properly after the job so it flew off in a wind storm. I wanted it fixed right so I texted Charlie (same number after all these years), he came by a day later and reinstalled and secured my downspouts all for a very reasonable price. It's rare to find a stand up guy like Charlie these days. Young guy with old school values!
