This is a long overdue review but Jerry helped repair and paint a wall and a portion of the ceiling in one of my rooms that had water damage back in December 2024. He was meticulous in his work and when completed it was impossible to tell that the wall had been water damaged to begin with - it looked that good! I felt a little nervous hiring someone just from online reviews but I got very lucky with finding Jerry. He was lovely to work with and did an amazing job painting my apartment for a very fair price! He does all the work on his own and his work is meticulous. I had to be at work most of the days he was there but he was very trustworthy and I felt comfortable having him work on my place when I wasn't there. He was also very collaborative...I had some specific requests when it came to re-doing shelves in my closets and he was happy to talk through the options so I was happy with the result. Our upstairs neighbor flooded our bathroom and hallway and we were in need to repaint and patch these areas. Jerry promptly arrived at our apartment in the Upper West Side, took time to investigate, and suggested that we let it dry out for a week before he came back to paint. He was back at our apartment 5 mins before the appointment, brought plastic sheet/tarp to make sure the non-affected areas remained clean, and was absolutely meticulous with the paint job. We bought a couch that did not easily fit down our narrow interior hallway. To get it into our living room, the delivery people were forced to wedge it through. Well, naturally the 100-year-old plaster wall was damaged from this and we needed to fix it ASAP. I found Jerry on Yelp and he reached out within an hour. Over the past year, I have relied on Jerry for painting and he has slowly become a regular handyman as well. He is VERY clean and meticulous, he follows direction to the exact measure.
