I had the unfortunate experience of opening a evite dinner invitation attachment on an email from a known acquaintance which turned out to be a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). I tried several times to clean my hard drive with Nord VPN Threat Malware and Malwarebytes programs which found nothing. A backdoor was established on my laptop and I could see the intruder's mouse pointer navigating throughout my laptop while my mouse pointer was disabled. The only solution to stop it was to sever the internet connection. The issue persisted for several days when I would reconnect the internet. The intruder wasn't always present but I could see when they were. The intruder got into my Google password manager, Quicken account and attempted to make Amazon purchases. I was running out of airspeed and ideas and recognized that I needed professional assistance. I researched locally for an I.T. firm and found Will Get IT Done. I met with Will who examined my 7 year old laptop and he recommended I simply replace it as the cost to wipe it clean/replace the hard drive and reload would be comparable to a replacement. Although working just fine prior to the intrusion, given the age of my laptop I took Will's advice and purchased a new laptop. Will and Nicholas transferred all of my clean files from the old to the new laptop in their lab leaving the RAT in the old hard drive. I am now back in great shape. After either getting declined from some businesses due to the complexity of my project or the price was absurd. (Some quoted me more than a fresh paint job.) I decided to message Twentyywraps. The owner is actually responsive and cares. I always got constant updates. I arrived with a unique install request in person, and he actually took the time to review it. Extremely fair price for the labor involved. I was quoted for a 2 week turnaround time. He ended up getting his whole team to work on my car, and it was done in 2 days. It wasn't rushed, and I'm satisfied with my results. If you're in the DMV area trying to get your itasha installed (anime car), go here! I'd had the car for a while and she'd been through a few things, so I thought a wrap would give her a fresh new life. I already had clear PPF installed on the front from another shop shortly after purchasing the vehicle, and when Twenty Wraps ran a special, it felt like the perfect opportunity. I chose a beautiful golden-flecked white wrap that still looked close to the original white paint at first glance; which was exactly what I wanted because I love white cars. I worked with Alex throughout the process. He communicated well, helped me set everything up, and the turnaround time was excellent: about 2 days plus a few hours on day 3. He also explained proper wrap care, and I added windshield tint while the car was there. Overall, my first experience was very positive. Unfortunately, my second experience was very different. In March someone hit my parked vehicle and caused significant damage to the driver side and front bumper. Repairs required portions of the front bumper, quarter panel, and both passenger doors to be rewrapped. I contacted Twenty Wraps for a quote because I initially trusted them based on my first experience. I stopped by in person to discuss everything, received an updated quote, and reminded the employee to send me a digital copy for insurance purposes. I paid the full balance upfront; not just the deposit - so materials could be ordered and my appointment secured. Originally, I was scheduled to drop the car off on a Monday, but late Sunday evening I was informed the material shipment had been delayed. I adjusted my schedule and dropped the vehicle off the following day instead. I was told the turnaround time would be one day. However, my car appeared to sit untouched the entire Tuesday. I knew this from both my Tesla Sentry Mode notifications and the fact that I live literally down the street from the shop and could see the vehicle still sitting outside that evening. By Wednesday, I still hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to ask about pickup timing because I had appointments scheduled that day after already rearranging plans due to the material delay. I was told the car would be ready by 1 PM. When I arrived, they were still actively working on it in the back, so I waited. Because I needed to leave for another appointment, I didn't have much time to inspect the work thoroughly before driving off and honestly, I trusted them based on my previous experience. Later that day, I noticed the front bumper appeared noticeably more matte than glossy and did not match the rest of the wrap. I reached out via text asking why the finish looked different, but I never received a response. I followed up again a few days later...still no response. I eventually called, and the person who answered said they would review the messages and call me back. I never received a callback. I'm genuinely disappointed with how this was handled. The second install feels rushed compared to the original work, and the difference in quality is noticeable when comparing the old wrap to the newly wrapped panels. More disappointing than the issue itself was the complete lack of communication and follow-up regarding my concerns. My first experience gave me confidence in recommending this shop, but after this second experience, I honestly can't recommend them to my car-loving friends or family. Professionalism and customer service matter just as much as the work itself, especially when customers are paying premium prices and placing trust in your business.
