You are the unacknowledged, underpaid and at risk Frontline Workers. Yet, still, you're services, the store itself, the merchandise, the order - despite your perils, unlike most stores where I leave with a headache, with yours I leave happy. They were supposed to deliver it and because they couldn't reach me in person for a six dollar copayment. (my prescription benefit was paying for The Bulk of the cost.), they failed to deliver the medicine this afternoon and now I am really sick. Also, they asked me for my phone number to verify it when I called, but they called my daughter instead who lives in another state to say that they couldn't process the payment. Really? They verified who I was my personal information including phone number and they verified my pharmacy information to make sure that I had it and they quoted me the six dollar copayment and they promised that they would deliver this today. I that I couldn't get over there. I told I had a UTI and I even told them I was leaving an envelope for the delivery taped to the door because I had to work. So after having an account there for years and always paying copayments and having a pharmacy insurance coverage that they verified, for $6 I couldn't get an antibiotic for a bad UTI, when they are being paid for the prescription through insurance.? why confirm my information when they don't call me for personally? why not call my daughter for the six dollars when they can't reach me? Instead, I am left hanging tonight. The worst part is I have some kind of a credit there that I always see on my receipt. Why not use the credit which I can never figure out how to use anyway?

I have family that lives in Bronxville, and Value Drugs is one of the businesses in the village…read morethat they frequent. One of my aunts alerted me of a sale that they have every year around the holidays where most items run 20% off - she usually takes advantage of this sale when purchasing small gifts and stocking stuffers. This year, she asked if I was interested in joining, and since I indeed needed to pick up a few small gifts, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to check Value Drugs out. On the surface, Value Drugs is an independent pharmacy, but it's a little more than that since addition to being a pharmacy and providing corresponding retail items, they have a large selection of non-pharmacy items which gives the feel of almost being a general store. It's a family business as well, with multiple locations in Westchester and on Long Island. The store is quite large - you enter into the main area with general merchandise, and then the pharmacy area is almost in a separate room off to the side. They have a good selection of merch - you can easily spend a good chunk of time browsing. As soon as I entered I focused on the holiday section - I was able to pick up some confections to complement gifts I was giving, and noticed they had a variety of decor as well. Even though the store is large, the aisles are tight - it was a struggle to navigate with all of the foot traffic, however I feel this was an atypical situation due to the sale. Service was good; the store was well staffed and despite everything going on, there was a flow and organization. Overall, I had a good first experience at Value Drugs. I cannot speak for their pharmacy services, but I can see how their other selection along with cleanliness and good service make it a staple in the Bronxville community.

Came for a flu shot. This place blows. Some of the staff sucks, whole-heartedly…read more I was able to set up my appointment without issue, although being able to set an appointment two minutes prior to that appointment, when confirmation requests that you arrive to the appointment at least five minutes early, might cause some issues for others. I arrived at the pharmacy during a time they are having a renovation. There was no signage directing customers where to go for vaccination check-in. That particular counter is currently blocked. Other customers were also confused as to where to go, for prescription pickup, drop-off, etc. I waited on line and was called to the counter by an employee. When I got to the counter, someone from behind then handed her a package, and she proceeded to call out another customer's name, telling me to the wait until she took care of that customer, despite calling me up first. I waited again, and after some time, a young lady with long blonde and brown braids, acted as though she was checking me in, but did not check me in, and may have been confused regarding how to complete the process. Instead of asking a coworker for assistance, she sent me to another counter to pass the buck. After waiting an additional ten minutes, I had to ask aloud, if anyone was working at the counter. Finally someone came, took my info but could not find me in the system, and brought me back to the initial counter I went to when I first arrived. She kept saying she couldn't find me in the system. I told her repeatedly that I had an email confirmation and QR code. After repeating this multiple times, she finally scanned the code, which didn't work, and then manually entered the code, which did work. I was finally checked in and told to wait, which was not long. The person administering the vaccines called me and proceeded to give me the flu shot. The set up is quite unhygienic. She did not clean the area at all and I witnessed her vaccinate two other customers before me, without cleaning the surfaces before or after working with them. I would have thought that being in Pelham, this CVS would respect it's customers more, but based on the reviews and ratings I see online, this is not the case. It is unfortunate. If I had been elderly, not tech savvy, or uninformed, I would have waited there and been turned away due to the employees failure to exhibit the basics of customer service. Please reevaluate your pharmacy staff. They are lacking. I will say that I was met with much help while on the floor. After receiving my shot, I went shopping for some cold meds and other items. Two employees noticed that I looked a bite lost and asked me if I needed assistance. I was taken aback and probably would not have even bothered asking them, just based upon my experience with the girls in the pharmacy section. These women, however, were very helpful and directed me exactly where to go. I also needed help at self checkout and two other staff members assisted me when they saw that I was having trouble. I guess they're not all bad eggs but the pharmacy section definitely needs a revamp on attitudes and customer service. Wanted to add...you're supposed to received a discount for a future purchase, for getting your flu shot administered here but they never gave me anything or told me how to redeem the offer. I completely forgot about it until I took my husband to another location for his shot and he was able to purchase items with the discount.

The pharmacy staff watches TikTok while checking out clients. That pretty much sums it up.read more
