When we purchased our cart in early 2024 the OWNERS were very very nice and welcoming. The purchase of our new golf cart was pleasant. Benji and his wife were very nice people. Fast forward to several months later when we had a cell go bad in one of the batteries, called Benji and he said to bring it back so they could look at it and determine it was a bad cell. Picked the cart up the same day free of charge with a new battery since the battery was under warranty. This past week we have noticed the charge dropping more than usual. Called up there and asked could we bring it back for them to look at it and make sure the batteries doesn't need replacing giving our history. Upon drop-off today NOTHING was mentioned about a "service charge" for checking the batteries. We were not charged one the last time so we were not expecting it today. Once we go back to pick it up today we were charged $100 for them to JUST LOOK AT IT AND DETERMINE NOTHING WAS WRONG! In my professional opinion this should've been discussed upon drop-off. Example- if you don't know you don't know. Had he said we charge a $100 fee to "look at your cart" or to check your batteries there would be no discrepancy. The son-n-law was VERY RUDE, HE EVEN GOSSIPED WITH US WHILE WAITING ABOUT OTHER "RETIRED CUSTOMERS" HOLDING HIM UP DAILY JUST ASKING QUESTIONS or WALKING AROUND TALKING TO HIS STAFF WHILE THEY ARE WORKING, STATED IT'S AGGRAVATING AND A WASTE OF HIS TIME BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING.
