They did not pull the weeds that had grown through the old mulch before putting down the new mulch over the top of it. So a week later all of the same old weeds have grown right back through the thin layer of mulch they put down. They also neglected to edge around the landscape to give it that crisp and sharp edge. I called and asked them to come back and pull the weeds and he was very condescending and disrespectful and said yeah weeds are gonna grow back there is nothing I can do about that except come back and and spray weedkiller on them. Hmmm... Maybe they should have sprayed the weed killer before putting the new mulch in? Or just actually pulled the weeds that were there. I have used various landscaping services through the years and have never been this disappointed. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Called Nelson and he said that they had ran out of the barrier cloth while doing the job and he went to the store to get more and his helper must have finished without putting the rest of the barrier on. No problem! (I had already paid him) He agreed to come and put more barrier down. He texted me and said he had came by and still no barrier on one whole end of the bed. I texted him and he said that that was all he was going to do. He was done. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. I am now moving the mulch and putting the barrier down myself. That makes it more challenging to split the wood. He said he would have expected the cuts to be straight. The second is the length of the pieces. You would expect the tree to be cut in to pieces that are around 20" or a multiple of that because 20" is about the length of firewood. Instead they seem to be about 30". Too short to cut in half and too long to split as is. So my husband is having to cut 10" or so off the end. I went with this company because I wanted to go with someone who had a quality reputation and they are local to my area. I am very disappointed. Would NOT recommend.
