For many years I have considered A & S Tree Service to be my tree care company. They do good work, clean up beautifully, take precautions to protect vulnerable areas such as septic tank fields, and may even do something extra that wasn't included in the estimate. Competing bids showed me that A & S regularly priced their services fairly, so I quit getting competing bids. Then last spring one of my trees fell onto a failing tree in my neighbor's yard, so 2 trees needed to be removed and we'd split the bill. Several days passed after Everett had viewed the problem before his bid arrived; the copy of it for my neighbor was misdirected so didn't arrive. During that delay, my neighbor hired another tree company to do the work for considerably less than the A & S bid turned out to be. A co-worker recommended A & S Tree Service, and I am so glad she did. From the day Everett came out and gave us a quote to all of our communications with the company, we are 100% pleased with A & S Tree Service, with Ashley, and the workers who did the work at our house. I watched A & S come and take down this huge tree and I was so impressed with them. A & S was prompt, efficient, respectful of our property, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do at a cost that was less than two other competitor companies. What impressed me the most was that they had obstacles in the way to get to this tree --- a privacy fence, my grandkids' cedar swingset, and overhead electrical lines --- and A & S came right in with the bucket truck and cut that tree down expertly, piece by piece, then hauled it all off, picked up and raked up the debris, and then ground down the remaining stump smooth as can be. A & S deserves all the praise I can give, and I will not hesitate to recommend them --- I just told our HR Director about them yesterday and encouraged her to call A & S because she has a tree that needs to be removed.
