The food finally arrived and was average quality, nothing special but large portions which was the best thing from the evening out on the patio. We weren't discounted or comp anything from this very unpleasant experience, no visit from manage or apology, nada, more like oh well approach. Being out of province we won't be returning and just sharing our disappointment with the service and consideration we received as guests.

Prices tend to be on the expensive side especially when buying a prime cut of steak but the meat is top quality, so give them a try. I'm sure you'll be pleased. Also inside is Vera's Burgers. I got away with Chorizo, some lean ground beef and some beautiful olive oil. Is this place cheap? No! But, I pay for quality without batting an eye. Especially foodie stuff. Next round was a Tuesday aft. Ahhh. Better. I could see everything, not so packed. It was just after a long weekend so some things were sold out but I grabbed more lean beef, a chicken parm portion, a beef Jamaican patty and a stuffed potato. All were good! The waitress knew the menu, and was able to advise us on deserts, etc. I ordered a salad with chicken, and it came with a little cornbread - and the waitress warned me that it had a slight kick... but it wasn't bad. You know what? She was right! I would order this again. Other things on the menu that were enticing: quiche! I can hardly wait to go back and try this! I love that they're dog friendly! My fiancé really enjoyed the Big Joe's Hot Pepper Pale Ale. You could smell the pepper right away, and it had such a unique flavor without being overwhelming or spicy. My uncle's band, Spring Street, also played tonight, which made the whole evening even more fun. Great beer, great music, great atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot! My partner also got a cheese burger but I was too focused on the poutine to get a bite. Ferg saw our pup and offered him a hotdog! He also gave us free waters and free dessert. He was so kind and we appreciated it. I highly recommend you go to ferg's to grab a bite. He was chatting with us and you could tell he was genuine.
