After getting our home set up on Monday after arriving into the area, we went out to find something to eat. Apparently, almost everywhere in the vicinity is closed on Mondays with the exception of this brewing company and McDonald's! Raquette River brewing won! Normally, we're not too big on places with food trucks; however, this place had four food trucks, two of which looked like we would order from. Their beer was absolutely terrific! Couldn't recommend their wines though. I ordered their double IPA while my wife ordered one of the local wines they had on their list. The wine made it for two sips and I truly enjoyed the double IPA! My wife ended up switching to a blackberry sour they had on tap. We utilize the marketplace food truck. There was a combo special paste it on their side for smoked wings and smoked ribs. Combo with one side. My wife ordered the meat eaters flatbread. We also ordered an additional side of shoestring fries. I thought my smoked wings and ribs were absolutely delicious! After some seasoning, the shoestring fries were OK. Unfortunately, the meat eaters flatbread really needed some additional seasoning. Italian seasoning? Oregano? Just something more. That said, we can fully recommend the Raquette River Brewing! Always a favorite of ours! On our way in and out of the ADK it is a favorite stop. Adirondack themed, so many beers on tap plus a lot of ciders if beer isn't your thing! There's truly something for everyone. And the variety of food trucks outside add an option for everyone to enjoy. I even found some vegetarian/vegan options if your family needed one. Dog friendly for friendly dogs, TONS of brewery swag and indoor and outdoor seating. We love it here! read more

This is a really unique place. It's a brewery that has food, but all of the food is from food trucks! They're permanent food trucks too. There are four, but only three were open when we were here - a pizza one, a Mexican one, and an American one. All of the food we got was okay. There is indoor and outdoor seating and dogs are allowed in all areas, including inside! The beer itself was good too - they had a nice variety of kinds. The ambiance is your typical brewery. They had a live band when we were here, so it was quite loud inside even though the band was outside. Service was fine. Really neat little place to check out if you are in the area read more

I love Tupper Lake, its where my hubby & I camp every year, altho covid changed some things, nor the fact that we've been coming here for years & have watched it grow. The food trucks are great, there's variety & something for everyone. The people working here are great, the people coming here are friendly,and the beer is hands down fantastic. This weekend I had a few pints of the red ale, but my absolute favorite is the Mango Wheat! So delicious. We munched on pizza from the truck, sat back&listened to whoever was jamming. Came in for some beers and was super happy. There's a very chill vibe here and it's Adirondack through and through. The vibe is definitely cabin in the woods feel. They had 3 food trucks the day we came and I believe the have at least one all the time. So while they don't serve their own food - they always have it on site. Solid choice for a beer at least. Tons of beer options. I got a flight of just house beers and they were all solid. Went in the winter and the inside is good size and the outside looks like it would be a good place to hang out. My only knock is we were looking for places to eat. Ended up at a crappy place in town before coming here for beers. Their website or FB page said the food trucks were closed till April (roughly). This was February and when we got there, there were two food trucks. Just wish their info online was up to date because we would have gotten food here instead the crap food we ended up getting in town. read more

This is one of my dad's favorite places to stop in Tupper lake! There is somewhat limited parking. They have a large outdoor space with a great atmosphere. You can bring your dog and everyone is always so friendly. There are multiple food trucks available with a variety of different foods. This review is based on a visit in September 2020 during covid. No food served, but there are two food trucks just by the parkinv lot. RRB also let you choose your snacks from a box of selections. Hiw thoughtful! I love their numerous seletion of drafts and 1911 ciders. The indoor space is very spacious. Between spaced our seating booths, there are plenty wall outlet to charge phones. The outdoor space is not only spacious, it also has rain fly and sun shades. The servers are attentive and friendly. What is not to love? We'll definitely be back for more fresh brewski. read more

Fair prices; six dollar pints. They offer flights too for about the same price as elsewhere. They do something like a baker's dozen beers in-house. Pretty good beers too, though nothing crazy. My favorites were the vanilla porter and smoked red ale. They are expanding with a large construction project that looks to eventually be a winterized spot with tons of seating and for hosting musical acts. Two food trucks on site seem to be permanent, one pizza only and the other does burgers, fries, sammiches, etc. Prices at both seemed high, but they were busy. It's cool that a small town like Tupper Lake had a place like this. Check it out while breezing through.. Plenty of parking in a gravel lot available and they have free WiFi as well. read more

I think the many positive reviews reflect on the fact that there just isn't to many places to go in Tupper Lake. The owners and some staff members are arrogant and frankly the beer is at best just OK. But for Tupper Lake it is a 5 star! It is crazy with all the beautiful shoreline and sunsets in this town this place sits on what was a dead-end trailer park road overlooking an auto repair shop. Go figure read more

Had heard many good things about Raquette River Brewing. Blueberry Wheat 4/10 blueberry notes were hidden and not noticed. Good coloring so taste disappointing. Mango Wheat 0/10 watery and no indication of a wheat beer or mango, weak start and weaker finish.. bleh. The American IPA was good and accurately described Table side Ordering worked well and convenient with Apple Pay. Food trucks there tonight were pizza and The Marketplace. We chose the marketplace and that was a huge mistake. Waited 31 minutes in line with 6 people in front of us. Husbands Pulled pork sandwich was burnt and sauce was clearly Kraft or the likes. I chose a special of crab and shrimp quesadilla - nice try poor execution. Corn and bean salsa was homemade and tasted great. imitation crab was heavy with no try to hide or enhance flavor. Red onion was roughly chopped with many pieces stuck together- not a dealbreaker but details should matter. $40 for food and $21 for beer and our consensus is that next time we would patronize the gas station before going back. 1 star for easy ordering and the IPA. Another star for being pet friendly. read more

Very impressed with this place during my visit to the area. The atmosphere and set up of the brewery is awesome and perfect for the area. Might as well stop by after a long day on the lake. The staff was quick and friendly and beers were delivered very quick after ordering through the table QR code. Food wise there were three different food trucks and one had a really tasty smoked brisket quesadilla that I would order again no questions asked. The other two food trucks had a bunch of other tasty sounding options as well. The brewery also had a person doing artwork involving a chainsaw and wood, was cool to see that happening. Overall this place had great vibes and is perfect for some brews and grub. I recommend the mango wheat or the hot pepper beer if they are available. read more

This place came highly recommend from another brewery that shall remain nameless... But I'm so thankful for the suggestion! The place was awesome! Plenty of seating, inside and out, 2 food trucks selling grub (pizza truck is our go to), helpful quick staff and online ordering, an artist making live wooden sculptures with chainsaws and did I mention delicious beers? We got a couple of flights so we could taste everything before commiting to pints which is always awesome! If you're into cider the do offer a wide selection of 1911 cider. Full disclaimer, we didn't try the cider yet as we are driving it home for a few friends we taste cider with, however we got a 7 pack to take with us (they allow you to break up any 4 pack, which is also amazing!) The vibe of the place is so laid back, dogs everywhere kids everywhere... A true "come as you are" type of place. Speaking of kids we saw a 14 year old with a soda flight... How cool is that?! This place came highly recommend and I will return the favor for you. In you're near by... You can do a lot worse than Raquette River Brewing. read more

I really don't know where to start for this review, but I have been going here for the last few years and it is amazing to see it grow to its current state. Currently the main establishment is in a covered area with multiple tables and bar....I remember when this was in the beginning phases and open to the elements and the bar was in their tiny storage area (only assuming its a storage area now). They have live music during the summer (granted I haven't participated in one of these) and my only interactions with this is either when I am driving thru to Lake Placid, I stop in and grab some bottles or stop in after hiking for a burger and brew, but all-in-all, give this place a change; you won't be disappointed. Also check-in for their Warrior Run; typically in July. A nice event and of course there's beer at the end. read more

(Love wood cutting guy out front) No food from brewery, but they make it so easy to order delicious food (non greasy Buffalo pizza with a light crust) from food trucks. This is a huge nice new bar that's loaded with great tasting beers. Do yourself a favor and grab a flight or two, because there's a lot of good ones to try. The few that I tried were the raspberry wheat, mango wheat, pumpkin ale and orange sour, sooo good. Especially if you're like me and prefer fruity light beers. The food trucks out front have some great food options too. I had my first food truck pizza and it was definitely noteworthy! Bacon burger was huge and delicious too. Everything was decently priced, beers were $9 for a flight of 4, pizza was $13 and burger/fries was $13. Definitely a dog friendly establishment inside too, wish I brought my pup! read more

Stopped here on our way to lake placid. We stayed at the Faust motel located about a block and a half away; also owned by the same guy. This place was just fantastic, we really enjoyed our time here and actually wish it was closer to home because it would become a regular spot. There is so much seating inside and all around the outside. There are two food trucks/trailers outside when we visited severing pizza, burgers, poutine, sandwich and so much more. These trucks seem like they are there all the time. The inside was very nice and had great decor. They allow dogs inside and outside which was great. We sat at the bar which was very long with lots of seating. There was plenty of beers to chose from, and I tried a cocktail and it was really good too! They also had live music. If you are passing through, staying in town, or looking to take a drive and try a new place, you will not regret stopping here! They even have a great merchandise area and I wish I got more stuff, everything was so stylish! My husband is obsessed with the hat he got. read more

Came here for drinks and dinner on a Monday nite with coworkers, working in ADK on a historic Great Camp for a few days. Not crowded at RRB. Ordered drinks from the app on a phone and then order dinner from the food trucks outside. I had the flight of hard cider which was delicious. Food was great, loved the smoked Buffalo wings. My husband and I stopped here after a nice hike in the area. We ordered burgers from a food truck then headed in to sit at the bar. We are Hefeweizen fans and loved theirs!. The bar got very busy as we sat drinking, but the bartender was amazingly calm and friendly the whole time. Our burgers were good and the fries just like I like them small and crisp. So glad we took other Yelpers advice and stopped in while we were in Tupper Lake, this place is a must for any beer lover. My boyfriend and I started with a flight (4 sampler glasses for $7, whatta deal!) and tried the Raquette River IPA, Raquette River Smoked Red, Raquette River Hefeweizen, and Raquette River Munich Helles. Not being an IPA fan I can only say that the IPA received great reviews, and I personally really enjoyed all the others. The Smoked Red is definitely a must try!! For a pint with lunch (more on that later) I opted for a Raquette River Mango Wheat and was VERY pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Usually fruity beers are more miss than hit, but this one was delicious! If you're looking for a refreshing light beer, I would highly recommend this one if it's on tap! Food: Arthur's Southern Style BBQ food truck that's parked right next to the brewery. BBQ received grand reviews by my carnivorous partner, and I was so happy to see that they keep vegetarians in mind and offer a lovely Morningstar veggie burger option! The fries were crispy, and even better smothered in cheese! What a lovely place to sit out on the patio and enjoy good beer and good comfort food! read more

Fun place especially the outdoor seating when the weather is good. Good beer and friendly hard working staff. But, the QR based ordering system sucks, that's if you can even connect to the system. Ordering is a chore and the system does not allow for the staff to be tipped. They need to update or get a new system that is up ti 2022 standards. read more
