There are two outdoor eating terraces and indoor seating. Everyone at my table had a poutine and the gravy was one of the best I've ever had. The cheese curds were perfect; at the point where some were still squeaky but others were starting to melt under the gravy! It was the first poutine experience for one of my friends and he was happy the dish matched up to the high expectations preached by all the locals.

Got the meal and there was only 2 drumsticks and a total of only 18 pieces instead of 20(2 extra paid for pieces) i went back to the counter with my receipt and asked for my 2 extra pieces(drumsticks) the manager asked the girl in the kitchen and she rudely said"it comes with at least 3 and the extra 2, she should learn to count" at that point, still calm, told her and manager that i paid for 2 extra pieces, only for 18 and not what i ordered, she said"if she wants 2 more she can bring me from her meal and i'll trade them" and walked away, ignoring me and manager. I walked back to my table, another customer and wife where discusted by what they witnessed and the employee told them if they where'nt happy thry should leave, which they and another family did.

Guess they couldn't compete with Swiss Chalet, which also does rotisserie chicken and ribs. Hubby had a craving as we were leaving Québec and it was well past lunch time. Need I justify further? Ok then... Pretty quiet inside with a few people at the bar to the left of the dining room. And only a couple people at tables. Hostess led us to a nice cozy booth. Our server was gracious, friendly, smiling and while not completely bilingual, her English was still better than our very rusty high school French. She said they have a special lunch deal... if you order a lunch entrée you can get a soup or dessert as well. Spousal unit went for ribs and dessert (some big cookie). I went for the cream of chicken soup to start. It's supposed to be homemade, but something made me think perhaps they used a salty premix base and just add extra chicken? I might be wrong, could just be their recipe. Little less salt, little more cream would do the trick. Then I had the chicken wrap. Yes it was a lunch portion, so smaller than most wraps, but I probably got as much chicken in that as some people do elsewhere for dinner. Big, moist chunks of breast meat with a bit of spinach as a liner. Quite delicious. Coleslaw was included too. Went with "traditionale", which had a little more vinegar than I prefer. Creamy next time. Oh yeah, I'd be okay with coming back.

We got it figured out quickly and ordered! He got a burger and a mini poutine while I got pulled pork poutine. Holy moly, it was amazing. The pulled pork was tender, flavorful and really added a lot to the poutine. Hubby wasn't a fan of the burger and agreed with a statement I had made earlier in the trip about how the ketchup in canada was quite a bit sweeter than the ketchup in the states. This stop was actually one of my favorite things we did on our trip! I'm happy to have found it.
