So for some reason my key fob would not open my car. I had to do it manually with the key. I thought the battery died, because that's the only reason I can only think of. So my sister suggested to check this place out. Battery replacement is super inexpensive here. It was 8 dollars!! He changed it super quickly and I went to open my car and nothing. So I went back and asked what it might be after I googled what else it could be. I hoped it was just disconfigured. He seem to agree after checking it. This spot is a lifesaver. Accidentally snapped my 240sx key at the car wash and didn't have no spare copies. One of my friends let me use his car key, he was able to wiggle it into position and start my car. Called around and a lot of place didn't work on "older car keys" some people wanted to charge me $50 just to try. Brought my broken key here, an older gentleman told me it'll be $10 to attempt to cut me one. Was in and out in 10 minutes. He even told me that if it didn't work he'd cut me a new one. I ordered a key fob online for my daughters' car, since she had no spare key( and it's one of those keys with the alarm attached to the key). We desperately needed keys made, specifically small mailbox ones. Did you know those home depot machines won't take that size?? I went hunting on Yelp and most locksmiths are mobile ones who did not cut keys on the spot. This place was responsive, affordable and CASH ONLY. I made a new set of Mercedes-Benz key fob elsewhere (come check my other review), but the person there wasn't confident enough to cut the key blade. So I did a little bit of research who laser cut ley nearby and this place showed up during the process. Called them and tell them my situation, and gave me a price straight away. Went there for a key cut, we both sensed a little bit of a trouble where my car wasn't in the system. But he knows what he was doing. Just to be sure, he took out one of his own blank keys and start the cut, just in case it doesn't work, at least it wasn't my key blade that's damaged. Told me to try it on, and it works! So I'm a bit torn about this place... - Pros: everyone was really nice and really accommodating. - Cons: they didn't make their appointment time, didn't call me about it, and I had to make an extra trip to pick up my keys. I needed some locks re-keyed. 5 doors, 10 locks total (5 deadbolts, 5 knobs), and one guy gives me a price of $45 as the fee to come out and another says $65 (I called back to actually make the appointment later that day). They honor the $45, which is great. It's $15 per lock to re-key, so we settle on a time. Day of service: they don't make the appointment and don't call me to say they can't make it. I call them and the guy at the shop didn't even know I had an appt. with whoever was out in the field. He calls around, calls me back, and says he can have a person there like, 2hrs later, so I leave the doors unlocked since I can't stay and hope they come out. They do, and the timeline doesn't wok out for me to meet them that day (they're there much longer than they anticipated), so I have to stop by the shop to get the keys the next day. Not in my original plan. The guys at the shop were nice (tiny little place. Tiny). Made me 4 sets of each key- which they ddin't know about because the guy in the field didn't tell them I needed 4 sets, gave them to me on a nice metal ring-thing, and I was on my way. After I asked if the guy locked the house yesterday to the answer of, you guessed it- I don't know. I haven't even tried the keys. I'll update after I try them. read more

I locked my keys in my trunk and I waited for 3 hours for a tow truck to come open my door. They set off my alarm and my cars system shut off and I couldn't open my trunk to get my key. ABC Jorge's key shop is a literal hole in the wall operation. The sign is easily visible from the street. Walk past a staircase, and go straight into the small shop. There's a glass display and tons of keys hanging on the wall, accompanied by various tools and equipment. I parked on the street in front of the store. There's parking available in the back also. The service is prompt and fast. I had two copies of a key made in less than two minutes. It only cost $1.65 per copy, so my total was $3.30. These guys are quick and efficient. I'll have my keys made here when I'm in the area. Jorge's key shop is located very close to one of my favorite AYCE joints, Ozen sushi. It's on Pioneer, a little past 166th street. You can have your keys made, then go satisfy your inner glutton! read more

My remote casing cracked on my only key set. I called and got a quote for $65 and they ordered in a new remote. Came to get the remote programmed on Friday and it took less than 10 minutes. Ended up getting a new key as well as the remote for $60. Good value and good customer service. Will be coming back for my other car key needs. read more

While this place is tiny, and not the most inviting, they GET THE JOB DONE! After an unpleasant experience with a locksmith near my home (Menifee/Murrieta area), I was on my way out of town, and looked for places that were good, old-fashioned locksmith shops. For some reason (probably the economy, etc.), they're hard to come by nowadays. Especially ones that are open on a Saturday. Jorge's was open, and told me they could rekey 3 Schlage cylinders to match a 4th Schlage cylinder for my home. Traffic was awful on the way, but took the Express Lanes on the 91, so I had plenty of time to stop into this shop, and boy was it worth it. Quoted $18 to rekey 3 cylinders. The mobile locksmith near my home that made me drive to him (?!?) quoted me $45 for the same service, and then flaked. I was told 30 minutes by Jorge's to complete the job, and it took all of about 20 minutes, with them making 4 keys in-between for a walk-in customer. Not only was it done efficiently, but he gave me all of the old keys to verify that they no longer worked, and the new keys to verify that they did work. Without a doubt, if I lived closer, I'd 100% utilize Jorge's in the future for any and all locksmithing needs - you won't be disappointed if you do! read more

Came in here for my keys to be copied. This place by all means is not fancy. It is small amd stocked full of manly tools. Their space is limited and there are no seating area. You basically stand there for service to be rendered. Although small, dingy, and cramped, they get the job done quickly and efficiently. I had two sets of keys made in a matter of a few minutes! Parking is easy and plenty in the back. You can pull up along the driveway and park against the fence as well. The back lot loops around so you don't have to reverse to get back onto the main street. I will be back for another service if I need it! read more

My vehicle's ignition switch was having some electrical issues, and many auto shops do not deal with this specific problem. Pep boys says they do fix it but would have to wait for a specialist to come to the shop. Auto dealers charge 150 just for the diagnostic. I had another key shop that's about 2 miles north of this place quote me $30 to cut the key, this shop got it done for $15.
