If you value quality and honest work you need to hire Defender Home Inspections…read more Jason is an inspector that is committed to doing things the right way! He was diligent and extremely thorough. He allowed me to follow him around, and even pointed out all the issues and explained why they were a problem! He was extremely knowledgeable & personable. He also includes so many pictures and even videos as documentation in his inspection report in a way that is very easy to understand! Loved that! I included just a few pictures of some of the things he documented. Without his diligence, I would not have realized the home I was looking to buy was actually a huge money pit! He pointed out the painted over rotten wood, moisture in the walls and ceilings, the shotty workmanship all through out the home, rotting support beams and issues with the landscaping routing water to the home. He showed me all the cheap fixes, big and small, that appeared normal at first look, but were just attempts by the sellers to hide egregious issues. Thank you Jason for your hard work, honesty and commitment to making sure homes are safe and properly maintained. I'll be recommending Jason to anyone looking to buy a home. He is a must.

I know I'm not the only one who has had a house inspected by a realtor's or a seller's inspector and then found issues a month after closing and wondered why it was not on the report. The standard pat answer received, was that those issues were not a structural or safety concern only cosmetic. As if cosmetic damages don't add up as well. As if anyone wants to spend thousands of dollars after spend hundred of thousands. Jason finds safety and structural concerns but he also reports issues that can affect quality of life and cosmetic damages as well. He doesn't judge, he just reports. He advises that any serious issue he puts on the report be investigated/remediated by a professional in that area. I get it, some inspectors don't want to rock the boat. Many probably depend on referrals from realtors. JASON IS A BUYERS' INSPECTOR! Go into one of the largest financial transactions in your life with eyes wide open! I am a Realtor and out of state investor so I have worked with a lot of home inspection companies…read moreover the years. My experience with Jones- Warren Home Inspections was exceptional and I highly recommend them to anyone. I hired them to inspect a rental property that I was purchasing and, I had never personally seen so I was relying on the home inspector to give me honest feedback about the property. They conducted a very detailed inspection and then provided me with a full report that included multiple photos of the home. They called me to explain the report and, recommended licensed vendors to help me resolve the issues that came up in the inspection. They also continued to follow up with me until I closed on the property. If you are looking for an honest, professional home inspection company look no further. I consider Jones-Warren Home Inspections to be one of the very best in the business. You won't be disappointed.

This review reflects my personal experience with Ally Property Inspections and the inspector they…read moresent, John Harms. Ally Property Inspections conducted our home inspection on August 19th. John Harms provided a detailed-looking report, and at the time I trusted that it covered any major issues. I was satisfied enough that I even left a five-star review--something I regret now. Fast forward to closing day, October 17th. The very next day I visited the home and immediately discovered a major issue that should never have been missed: a bedroom window with severe water-damage and completely rotten trim. The damage was obvious and in plain sight--my finger literally went straight through the wood. After further inspection, the entire center section of the trim was rotten due to a leaking window. This was not hidden, subtle, or difficult to spot. Yet the inspector failed to note any of it in the report. This oversight is now costing us over $7,000 to fix--an issue that absolutely could have influenced our decision to buy the home. When I contacted Ally, they sent someone out to look, and from there it became a long, frustrating cycle of delays, miscommunication, and empty assurances. I was passed between multiple people--Mike, Lawson, Allen Warren, and finally Bobby McLemore. Each time I was told someone else would follow up. Weeks went by with no clear resolution. Eventually, Bobby informed me that they would not be repairing the damage, insisted their inspector made no mistake, and offered only to refund my $500 inspection fee--but only if I signed a release agreement. This agreement demanded that I: Never post a negative review anywhere Never make a critical comment on social media Never speak negatively to any potential customer Remove any existing reviews And if I violated this even once, I would owe the company $10,000 for each "disparaging statement", plus attorney fees. In other words, Ally Property Inspections tried to buy my silence. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to intimidate me into signing away my right to warn other homeowners. This behavior is outrageous, unethical, and absolutely unacceptable from any company--especially one that deals with something as serious as home inspections. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ally Property Inspections. The inspection missed a serious and obvious issue, the company refused to take responsibility, and their solution was to try to silence me in exchange for a refund. At this point, you're better off hiring a truly independent inspector--or doing the inspection yourself. I trusted them, and that trust cost me thousands of dollars. I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.
