A friend referred me to Liv for maternity photos and I'm so glad she did. Liv is a master photographer. She is so talented, sweet and patient. She was very accommodating and so easy to work with. She I decided to have the shoot at the same place I took my wedding engagement My maternity shoot was in a location she never shot before so she made sure to show up early to check out the site. By the time I arrived, she had already found some ideal shooting spots. A huge bonus with Liv is having access to her maternity dresses. There is no need to buy a dress you only plan to use for photos. I received so many compliments on the black maternity dress that I borrowed from her for my shoot. Liv made sure to get some amazing shots and she even waited for the sun to set to get a particular shot I wanted. After my maternity shoot, I knew I wanted to have Liv in my life forever. I promptly booked a newborn shoot. My son came nearly 2 weeks late but Liv was still able to accommodate our newborn/family shoot. I love that she offers in home options for her shoots. Liv arrived to my home right on time. She set up right in my living room and I was able to watch her work some magic. A family emergency prevented my husband from staying to complete the family portion of the shoot. Liv was so accommodating and focused on the newborn photos and allowed us to visit her home studio a few days later to complete the family portion. During the photoshoot, I was amazed to see Liv interact with my son. She has such a calming vibe and she may just be the most patient person I know. She is very good about being on the baby's schedule. My photos came back to me for proofing and the turnaround for final photos was quick. I used Babytale for my baby's newborn photo session and I absolutely LOVE how the photos turned out!!!! Olivia is an excellent photographer AND baby whisperer! She was so good at handling my newborn and got her to sleep pretty much the entire time! She is also super friendly and warm, just overall a great person to work with. She even had refreshments and granola bars ready for me when I got to her studio. Olivia was also very quick to reply to emails and yelp messages. Even the photos were done super fast! We got the digital download emailed to us within a few days! Her pricing was also VERY reasonable and actually MUCH cheaper than most of the newborn photographers in the South Bay. I paid $175 for 10 photos (Valentines Day special) + $10 per additional a la carte photo which I thought was a GREAT deal. Overall, amazing in all aspects! I just received my baby's newborn photos from Olivia and they are absolutely gorgeous! Olivia did a wonderful job! As a first-time mom, I'll admit I was nervous about doing a photo shoot, especially when we'd only been home from the hospital for a few days, but Olivia is a mom too and she's the baby whisperer! She was absolutely wonderful with our little girl...she somehow was able to soothe her and get her in a bunch of gorgeous outfits and poses! Also, Olivia has gorgeous props - everything from wraps/swaddles to a moon backdrop, baskets, etc. She even incorporated our dog (who tends to be a little bit wild!) in some photos! Olivia was professional and arrived right on time, but made us feel totally at ease and didn't rush anything - she was totally cool with me nursing during her the shoot. Liv is a talented photographer and a sweet person at the same time. We had our baby girl's newborn photos taken by her and I can't be any happier with the end results. We got to her home studio late, but she is still so patient during the photo shoot, and never rushed things. For one particular picture, she had to put down her camera like 20 times to adjust my daughter's pose in order to get it perfect. I was impressed. She gave me all the time I needed to nurse my baby during the session, and we had nice small talks during the break. She provided an online gallery for me to choose pictures from the day after the session, and I really had a hard time because all of them were fantastic! I ended up ordering extra 10 pictures. She provided a keepsake package after the photo shoot, which got lost in the mail. Upon my inquiry, she delivered it to my door in person on the same day after having done a session in my area. Liv was spectacular to work with and the photos turned out amazing! We chose to go to her home studio, and she was so inviting and kind. She cranked up the heat in her home (I kinda feel bad for her family given it was warm that day and they had to suffer through double heat!), and our little girl loved working with her, getting all the amazing poses that my wife and I wanted. We chose the 20 photo package, and let me tell you...it was tough picking them out given how many amazing photos she took! The website she uses was very easy and intuitive, making choosing our photos a little easier. Just received our package in the mail and it was very cute and well done. A Babytale Photography was such a lucky find for me! I knew I wanted some newborn photos of my first baby girl, so I started browsing Yelp for local photographers. From the start, Olivia was quick to respond in a friendly and attentive way, and I think it was really her attitude as much as her photos that made me ready to book with her. She kept the communication going, giving me an opportunity to share my ideas and input about the kind of photos I would like. On the actual day Olivia came to our house for the photo session, I could see how well prepared she was. She brought in absolutely everything needed for the session and was so incredibly patient getting our little girl into position, calming her when she'd cry, and pausing for feedings. It happened to be one of the hottest days of September during that photo session, and Olivia was a complete pro. I was even happier that she sent proofs in a matter of days through an online gallery, and once we'd selected our photos, Olivia quickly edited the photos and even dropped off the sweetest package to our home - not just the flash drive with the photos as I expected, but a beautifully put together box with a thank you card and other goodies along with the photos. I'm currently in the process of deciding what pictures to use for our birth announcement and holiday cards, and because I love them all, it is a harder decision than I thought! I am so happy to have stumbled upon Olivia's page here on Yelp! I really wanted decent newborn photos of my little one but did not want to pay a lot for them. Not only did A Baby Tale Photography have the right price for my budget, Olivia was amazing with my daughter. And she also took care of me, offering me a couple of delicious snack bars after having breastfed my baby. Olivia was very patient with my daughter, who was wide awake most of the time or wanted to be fed. I felt bad the session went longer than expected but Olivia never rushed us or made me feel uncomfortable. We were able to carry conversations that made it seem like we were old-time friends. Olivia asked for me to send pictures that I liked of newborn photographs beforehand, that I found on Pinterest or google, and that helped a lot.
