But this time I set an appointment on Friday at 4:15 with a "level 5 stylist named Sara, I told Sarah I just needed it cleaned up I had a wedding to go to, she started cutting my hair differently than i remember the owner had cut my hair while, and she was just trying to "shape" my hair, and she was not a small lady let's say and she was just leaning her stomach on me 3/4 of the whole time she was cutting my hair she proceeds to completely fuck my left side where I just wanted it buzzed down with a 1 and it fades up a little longer going toward the top of my head, and then says "the last person who cut your hair didn't know what they were doing", and just talking down on who cut my hair last, in which I really liked the first 2 times I had been. On top on that she tries to hide it and pushes my longer hair on top over it, and rushes away telling her apprentice to "style" me, doesn't show me the cut with mirrors so I can see the different angles, then the apprentice is over here just drowning me with the spray bottle, says oh let me get you a towel so it doesn't get on your face...proceeds to set it on my back gets finished up, set the towel down doesn't even offer it to me or nothing tells the desk lady to check me out... 57$ they charged me, I was so mad. I just went probably a month ago when the owner did it and it was only 30$. Absolutely ridiculous with the behavior of Sara the apprentice I imagine doesn't know better but Sara knew what she was doing. I put pictures of both sides of my head

I reached out to Ashley wanting to go back to my natural color. She first asked me for pics and a description of my hair journey. NEVER have I been asked by any stylist for this. So, I was ALREADY impresssed. She responded with a wealth of knowledge and I felt like woah this girl knows what she is talking about. Still nervous to go to a new stylist I booked and was excited to hopefully go back to being a natural brunette.( For years stylist kept me at a cooper tone/red tone)My appointment was at 5 and she text me around 4ish said she was running about 10 minutes behind. Wow, another plus! Thought that was super thoughtful and made me realize she was respectful of my time. Walked into this very quaint shop immediately my eyes went to the Bible sitting on the table. I knew I was in the right place. Along with the Bible there was Christian music playing AND scripture throughout the shop. She greeted me with a smile AND an apology for running a few minutes behind. I have NEVER had such amazing customer service in a salon in my 41 years. Acknowledging me as soon as I walked in AND apologizing for running JUST 10 minutes behind. Once I got in her chair she thoroughly checked my hair, asked me again about my journey and looked again at the pics I sent. She told me she already had a plan for me. She could sense how tense I was but talked me through the entire process. She offered me water, tea, or coffee while my hair was processing. She was super easy to chat with and I love how open she is talking about her faith. (Side note, the other stylist in the salon also super sweet and kind.) Once my hair was washed and completed she asked me to put my glasses on while she was drying my hair so I could check out the color. Listen, I almost cried. I could not believe how accurate and how my color was EXACTLY the way I have wanted it for YEARS! All the cooper red tones were gone, what Ive been asking stylist for years to do. I told her she was a magician. She literally is the color queen!!!! Ashley, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel beautiful and helping me back on my natural hair journey!
