I am so happy with this salon! It's located in the heart of downtown Statesville inside the historic Montgomery Building on the first floor. It's quite large, very clean, and staffed by lovely people. I was very lucky last Friday to get an appointment the same day and very lucky Jacob was available, he came highly recommended. Very personable and extremely talented, he knew just what I wanted for my new style. The shampoo station is in its own room, darkened and cool, with soft meditation music playing. Jacob has extremely talented hands, and I received the best shampoo and scalp massage of my life. Jacob was efficient in my cut and did a marvelous job. It was exactly what I wanted, but better. (I waited a week before writing this review because I wanted to live with the hairstyle first.) Simple and easy to care for, just as I asked. The salon had customers from high school age up to very geriatric and all in between, so they have someone/something for everyone. Highly recommend! read more

The only reason I gave it a 2 is that I fell asleep. Less than average massage, felt like she was just going through the motions, Not much conversation, and I gave a run down of where my trouble spots were and they were gone over quickly and not a lot of attention to it. Heck, not even a foot massage. For what I paid for that 90 minute massage, and with the unenthusiastic therapist, I'm not surprised she had a ton of openings. Lesson learned. Don't go to high end Salon. Don't waste your time here for a massage. read more

I feel relaxed just thinking of this place. I've only been here for massages but they are full service included haircuts and makeup. It's very modern and you feel fancy just walking inside. Lori cut - butchered - my hair yesterday. Did not realize how bad until I got home. No style and choppy. Had asked for the hairstylist a friend recommended and was talked into having Lori. Called last night for a refund and was told their policy - internal policy - is not to give refunds but could come and have the desired hairstylist cut it at no charge. This is not customer service and would not return to Beth and Company under any circumstances given the poor customer service and haircut quality. Not a pleasant experience on any level. I had my hair redone locally this morning and the stylist was horrified by how bad a cut Lori had given me. read more

I have used this salon off and on for the past 10 years. They are a little expensive, but consistently the best hair cut I've had. Today I called and they had an opening with stylist Veronica. I've gotten a cut from her in the past and today's cut and blow dry was fantastic. She has been there 13 years! A very pleasant afternoon. Pretty salon, they carry a wide range of products- Aveda, Bumble and a few others. Reasonable price cut and blowout $39, I am happy with the cut but it wasn't anything rave worthy. I was surprised to find out they are full service, massage/nails/facials. I will definitely try more services. I went on a rainy Saturday so street parking was no problem. The signage isn't very easy to see so I initially drove past it so just be sure to watch for the street number. read more

Yes not the cheapest place to get your hair cut, colored, highlighted or what ever your preference may be. However as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for and yes Amanda is the Best! She does it right every time I go and a very relaxing atmosphere all the way around. There are other services they do there from nails, messages, facials and etc. If you are looking for someone to "hook your hair up" give Beth and Company a call. I went in to Beth and Company'' to check out the new location at Langtree at the Lake and I was really excited they had a Blowout bar! I asked the salon manager if the Printed price of 25$ for a blowout was correct and she said yes and gave me a tour of the salon. I made an appointment for later that evening...that evening the young lady that did my hair was extremely friendly but inept at blowouts. I have naturally thick hair and it is the one thing that doesn't cause me a lot of trouble. With that said she was able to make me look like a damp stringy mess. She of course said it was my hair that was the problem. That wasn't the worse of it. I went to pay and the same manager that I spoke to earlier in the day charged me 35$. I said it is"PRINTED" on your services menu 25$? She said it was 25$ and up to whatever the stylist choose to charge? I said your services menu does not state that. She agreed that it wasn't stated but charged me 35$ anyway. Her excuse was "growing pains". In a nutshell I was dealt with dishonestly and the results of my overcharged blowout was a hot mess. The LEAST the manager could have done is charge the printed price. Also she never even asked me if I was satisfied with the service.
