My experience shows that…read morebeing friendly and eager to help at the beginning does not guarantee competent or professional service. If you do not pay for expedited service do not expect your POS in less than a month. He was quick to take on my cases and collect payment, but the real problem began afterward when accurate paperwork and follow-through were needed. I paid for two separate cases. In the first case, the Proof of Service was delayed over a month, and when I finally received it, he had listed the defendant's previous address as my address, the plaintiff. Because of that mistake, the court now reflects incorrect address information for me. In the second case, the court rejected the Proof of Service three separate times because of incorrect information. This case had specific service requirements, and I repeatedly asked for corrections because deadlines mattered. Months later, the paperwork was still not corrected. One revised version was sent, but the court rejected it again. Instead of taking responsibility, he called me a liar and a thief after I disputed the charges with my bank while waiting for proper paperwork. When I pleaded with him to fix the forms so my case would not be harmed, he responded: I WILL NOT FIX IT, I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR PAPERS!! He then threatened police reports, small claims court, and demanded a cashier's check before making corrections. HE IS A VERY INEXPERIENCED SERVER AND DOES NOT KNOW THE COURT RULES WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE. He told me an attorney friend advised him how to handle one of the cases, yet he still could not complete the paperwork correctly. His errors and refusal to timely correct them can potentially cost me the chance to recover five figures for damages due to missed service deadlines. Waiting two months for a Proof of Service is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. My warning to new customers: if your matter is simple and mistakes do not matter, you may be fine. But if your case is time-sensitive, requires strict compliance with court rules, or depends on accurate filings, I strongly recommend using an experienced professional instead.

This, also, enables firms and counsel to use all of our services or some of our services, as preferred. With our subpoena services, firms and attorneys can use their own "Attachment 3," or we can use one of ours. Our extensive network of experienced process servers, ensures that your subpoenas and other legal documents are served promptly, accurately, and in accordance with all state and federal laws. Our process service team is committed to maintaining open lines of communication, and our platform system is setup, so that a smooth workflow occurs and clients receive automatic updates in real time or close thereto. Our E-Filing portal is self-service, so attorneys and firms can register and then login to their account and electronically file their clients' court paperwork. Where do I even begin…read more... If your Ex hired a lawyer in El Dorado county with a name that rhythms with "Smessa Layer" DO NOT HIRED THEM. I honestly think they work together going back and forth just to rake up their clients bills. Not to mention, if they go to court for you, they charge each client for the court hearing an hourly fee only to give you 10 min of their time. I hired Luke to finish up my divorce once my ex's lawyer decided to ask for my retirement information. At this point, I was 85% done with my divorce. I had filed papers on my own, requested a settlement date, applied for spousal support, etc (payed all of that out of pocket). I had even come to an agreement with my ex. Things had transpired between us and the agreement was no longer a 'go' so I called Luke with the expectations of his solely getting me a divorce, I.e, write up an agreement stating that my ex keeps his things and I keep mine (which would have worked for both parties). Originally I was quoted $7500 as a retained and was told verbatim by Luke "we usually do $10000 for a retainer, but since you are almost done, $7500 should be more than enough". Halfway through I had to pay $3500 more and they ended up charging me close to $1000 over that on my final bill. For a simple settle agreement that I was forced to go to court for. I set them up with one need- a settlement agreement and it took months and thousands of dollars to get it.
