An hour later, Don Burns showed up to look over the project and give me an estimate. Right on time the next morning, a team showed up and started taking the tree down. Before they were finished another team arrived and started chipping and hauling away the debris. About two hours later another two people showed up and ground the stump out. Everyone on the entire crew was friendly and polite. They took their job seriously and the worksite is completely clean. I got a lot of work for a reasonable price. The communication of what I expected and what I paid for did not meet the outcome of service recd. Topping and pruning are two different things. Make sure you mark, spray paint whatever you have to do to clarify communications. My mistake in thinking they could do the job I asked them to do. Very disappointed, I still have trees taller than the house, I rec'd all pruned trees which will only get taller and cause more damage. It's why I needed them shorter in the first place after one fell on my car. The one star is for the cleanup they did do right and the one tree they actually removed. 4700 job that was not worth the outcome of what should have been done right of what I asked for.

Excellent! It looked like a bunch of pirates invaded my yard at 7:30am, but man, they were…read moreexcellent. Well coordinated, well prepared, and super easy to work with. Monty was even nice enough to take down another tree for us while he was there for a very minimal amount. We had 4 very large Pine Trees - at least 50-60 years old, 90-100' feet high, that had grown through the power lines behind our house. Our storage shed was also directly under them. They got all four down without so much as leaving a scratch on anything. They also cleaned up the entire fence row, and took down another 80' Maple in the back yard (and there are still two more back there that we decided to leave in place, but they cleaned them up for us - previous property owner had let them grow wild for 25+ years!).... that is a crowded 1/8 acre back yard! Still, though, they brought them all down without a single issue... and fast! They also cleaned up a very large oak tree in our front yard, as well as... some other big tree.... Monty even ground up 3 more stumps from some small trees we had already cut ourselves. They cleaned everything up - leaves, pine straw, twigs.... nothing was left behind. They actually left my yard cleaner than it has ever been. I hope I never have to take another tree down, but if I do, I will definitely use Glover's again. I really wish I had some "before" photos to show the difference, but I've attached some "after" pictures.
