I was looking for window treatments for my home, and after some research, I was specifically looking for the zebra blinds which seemed more affordable than wood shutters and yet still looked modern and easy to maintain. I came across an A-Blinds booth at Zion market in San Diego, and decided to give them a call. Stan Lee scheduled an appointment for me and he came out to my house to give me a quote. I did feel a little pressure to make a purchase right after the quote, but I resisted because I wanted to compare prices with other companies. After checking with a few other places, their product and service appeared fairly priced (with the discounts he offered). They were cheaper than another local window treatment company, a little more expensive than an online zebra shade seller. However, the quality of the zebra shade samples from this online seller did not seem as nice as A-Blinds samples (unless you got the high end shades from the online seller, than the price would have been about the same or more expensive than A-Blinds), and the online seller did not include installation. A-Blinds is an all-inclusive service so I didn't have to risk falling if I were to hang these myself since some of my windows are pretty high up and hard to reach. Plus, A-Blinds has a wider selection of colors than the online seller that I was checking out. After taking everything into consideration, I decided to go with A-Blinds, I called Stan again, and he came back to my house, got exact measurements for 21 windows, and returned the next week to install the zebra shades. In all his visits, he respected my property, respected my time, always showed up on time (even gave me texts to let me know his ETA), took his shoes off upon entry, wore a mask, and had protective covers for his ladders so they wouldn't leave marks or scratches on my walls. I was impressed with his professionalism and very happy with the end results. All my guests so far compliment on how beautiful the zebra shades look. They appear like wood planks floating on my windows naturally. Better yet, he said that the blinds that he installed for me have a life time warranty. I don't know about other people from this company, but I do know Stan Lee from my encounter, and I would highly recommend Stan Lee from A-Blinds to anyone looking for window treatments. P/S: I didn't mention the names of the other local window treatment company or the online window treatment seller because I didn't want to negatively affect their businesses, especially during this hard time of COVID19.
