We got our shutters and blinds done with this company and everything went fine. Here I am some time later and the roller shades they installed started giving me problems. I didn't know if it was the motor or what. So naturally I reached out back to harmony for help. I called Caesar's number and it went to voicemail. He states in his voicemail that he won't listen to messages so he asks that you text him instead. So that's exactly what I did. He has yet to respond to me and that was about 2 weeks ago. So yes, the customer service will be great until they get your money and then they're done with you. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Find someone or a company that cares about their customers even after the fact that they received payment. read more

Cesar has completed the last two installs for me. Everything was installed perfectly, with zero issues. I think delivery/ wait time has improved since Covid era. As with any order, it's always important to verify your products, make, color, and design decisions as it's easy for installer or customer to miss something. I forget this as I've been a customer for over 10 years now and sometimes forget to review the details as a repeat customer - luckily they triple check for me! Frank is always excellent with scheduling follow-up, you reach a real person by phone or text and I would readily recommend Harmony. We've had 3 blind systems installed....but what really makes this firm stand out is the service after sale ! Be it periodic tune ups of the blinds Phillies, cords or slats Harmony techs give fast service, have the spare replacement parts at a reasonable price. But our latest service need provided by FRANK really stood out. Specifically we installed new carpet with thicker pile and underlying pads....which impacted the blind slats movement. I feared the need to buy shorter slats.....BUT Frank came to the rescue with a service call to cut our slats a few centimeters shorter. I purchased window shades from Harmony Blinds and Shutters 10 years ago and one of the shades would not go down. I called Harmony and they told me to bring the shade by and they would try to see if they could fix it. Unfortunately, because the shade was 10 yrs. old, they could not repair, so they contacted the manufacturer (Hunter Douglas). Long story short, the shade was repaired at no cost to me and it now works great. The people at Harmony were great, very friendly and helpful. The blinds took a while to get in, longer than quoted, but the installation was very quick and when I had an issue with the fabric bubbling, they were quick to reply to my inquiry and fixed them the next day with a steamer and made sure to clean them as well. I have to agree with some of the recent critical reviews. I had blinds installed by Harmony years ago and everything went well. Recently we had some new blinds installed and I shared similar experiences as other recent reviewers. I have had to make dozens for calls for follow-up at every step of the process (estimate, payment, install, and repair). Rarely does anyone at at Harmony answer a call, text, or email. When I call the office I usually get a voicemail and no callback. If I do connect with a person at the office they tell me they will callback and never do. The most expensive blind we ordered was installed but was the wrong size/not as promised and it has been 5 months without repair or replacement. Every time I manage to get ahold of someone I get new date, which is then missed/rescheduled. Please consider ordering from a company that makes things right if something goes wrong, that is not Harmony. read more

Highly recommend Harmony Blinds and Shutters! I worked with Cesar, who was very responsive and patient as I went back and forth on figuring out the color and style of roller shades I wanted to go with for each bedroom in my home. The windows in my bedroom are wider than most of the standard roller shades and Cesar showed me a great option, when other companies made it seem like it would be way more complicated than it needed it to be. We recently had them replace the honeycomb shades in our master bedroom and bath. This was my second time using Harmony Blinds. The service is timely and professional. If we could give this company NO STARS, we WOULD! Worst Company my fiance and I have ever worked with. We found Harmony Blinds and Shutters through Yelp, and with all of the great reviews, we thought for sure they'd be a great company to work with. We were so incredibly wrong. We are currently at 1 YEAR and 9 MONTHS without any RESOLUTION. We are not difficult people to work with, and it's not like we had unrealistic expectations. The company was quick to take payment, even though the JOB was in no way completed, and Wayne continues to hold our money hostage. We told them that we'd had enough and Wayne told me he would come and remove the blinds and give us our money back, but what are we supposed to do about covering the windows in the meantime. He took our original blinds when they installed the shutters and now we have to sacrifice even more because the company won't make the situation right. I have no problem giving them the SH... shutters they installed, but not until we have a replacement. We ended up giving them the shutters back and we went with Elite instead. Let me start by saying that we have used Harmony three separate times and the first two times were fantastic. Now the bad news. We had them come out to add shutters to the rest of the house that MATCH the ones we have. We got shutters installed while I was at work and when I came home I found shutters that don't match at all. Even after multiple visits and photo exchanges they were dead wrong. Then they sent me a new invoice to sign that is for the full cost to replace them. Since then it's been radio silence. The person who did measurements and ordering said it was his first time and it seemed like he was trying to brush the whole thing under the rug. Well done new guy! You have successfully lost a customer and probably many more based on the other reviews saying similar things. The first person we worked with was amazing and totally on it. This last time was a complete disaster and now we have shutters that don't match and a really bad taste in our mouths. We got burned pretty deep, to the tune of about $4500. Go elsewhere. Trust me on this one. I don't know if Harmony is under new ownership or they have just gotten too big to care, but their quality has gone down considerably. It would be really nice to actually get matching shutters as we had planned on getting. read more

We were thrilled then and even happier this time because the decision was more complicated. Caesar gave us advice about something we selected and how busy it would look and showed a style more suitable and useable for our window size. Short version: - Expensive - Horrible customer service - All about sales, scammy at times Story time: So we've used them once before and they were great. Thats where all the good reviews come from. Now they're just bad. We get an appointment for our new house. Eldan arrives 30 minutes late. We have kids so this isn't idea. During that 30 minutes, no one (office, Eldan, etc) will pick up the phone or respond to voicemails. Once he gets there he also doesn't address it at all or apologize. He measures and does his thing, it just feels salsey, not like before where they felt like a great honest person. Just seemed like he wanted to get us into the most expensive stuff and get out. For example we asked if they do screen doors; he said they did and we said we would think about it. THEN we see it on our invoice/estimate to sign. We never talked about color, styles, options, etc., but he just threw it on there. He then said 2-3 weeks, turned out to be 5 weeks when they finally came. Guess what, they forgot an entire window covering. It was never ordered. I called about a week later and asked about progress on that and it STILL wasn't ordered! I don't want to ramble but long story short I went through the cycle of checking on it and being told I'd be called "tomorrow", waiting two days, and calling back. This happened for a couple weeks. There's a lot of this craziness that I haven't included. BTW: Eldan never apologized or checked in, when I emailed him there was no concern what so ever. Once everything was complete they took off a whopping (sarcasm) $150 for an inconvenience fee. There is still a balance on my invoice but they never followed up so I figured they called it a wash in consideration. I've since reached out to get some replacement parts that broke and haven't heard a thing! I finally get a call today because I see the invoice was resent, and I reply to that, and the manager nooooow sees the emails I've been sending about the broken piece, how weird. Stay away, this is a company that was great and has changed quite a bit. read more

Disappointing experience especially after selecting Harmony Blinds based upon favorable historic YELP ratings. First, the positive: the two installers Sean & James were prompt, polite, and efficient. They did their best during two visits to remediate errors caused by incorrect estimator errors. The estimator, meanwhile, had made two major errors while measuring vertical blind replacements for a slider door and two windows. The first error was ordering a side-to-center opening blinds track instead of the correct center-to-side opening for our single slider door. When opened, the vertical blinds were "parked" in the center of the slider door, compromising the ability to use the door until a replacement track could be obtained and installed. The second error was incorrectly measuring a recessed window box. This resulted in the vertical blinds striking the window frame when the blinds were opened or closed. We all make errors and we were willing to work around these problems. However, our disappointment relates to little or no consideration by Harmony Blinds to expeditiously correct these issues. At a minimum, we thought that a replacement track for us to be able to use the slider door would have been expedited by Harmony to correct their error. Unfortunately, this was not the case; we had to wait over three weeks to receive and install the replacement track. Meanwhile, there was no offer to correct the recessed window measurement issue. James was kind enough to disassemble and adjust the vertical blind assembly as much as he could to obtain adequate (but not ideal) clearance around the window frame. In closing, I identify these issues online as constructive criticism as the owner of Harmony Blinds failed to return my call to address these issues in private. The subordinate that did respond to my call had quite the air of indifference to these issues. read more

When I hired Harmony Blinds to install 2 Hunter Douglas roller shades more than 3 months ago, I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for installation because of COVID delays, which is understandable. However, they have completely failed to deliver- 1) Expect long delays 2) Don't expect them to contact you to inform you that your installation is delayed 3) You have to actively reach out to them at least 3 times to get something done 4) Their phone number doesn't work 5) Cesar, the manager, doesn't reply to texts for days on end 6) My installation of 1 of 3 blinds ordered is crooked (the other 2 still haven't been installed) If you're going to spend thousands of dollars on premium shades, the least they can provide is premium support. I do not recommend this company and I regret choosing them. read more

Used to be a great company when Wayne ran it. My understanding is he is no longer involved in the business that's why my next experience was probably not the same. Since they did such a good job on the original installation I called them back to do some other installations and repairs only to find out that Wayne is no longer with them but the company still has the same name. It took multiple phone calls to get somebody to call me back to even schedule coming out. It took multiple phone calls to try to find out what the estimate would be but unfortunately NEVER received an estimate. So I bought $5000 worth of blinds from Costco. Their installer was great, fast, efficient, everything you want in a business. I am sorry to leave a less than positive review but I can't in good conscious recommend them. I will say my 2nd experience was a year ago so they may have been able to work out whatever issues they had. I wish them the best. read more

They were the only company that found a solution for us and did a very detailed and thorough install that involved uneven surfaces, very high ceilings, and cables that had to be hidden.
