Mark is a scammer, a liar and a thief. Do NOT use this company. He buddied up to my husband and took almost $6,000 dollars deposit from us. After a couple months of no work done and promises not kept, I questioned whether he was lying to us. My husband eventually could not get Mark to return any calls, answer his door (we know where he lives) or respond in any way. It has been 9 months since we gave the deposit. We have filed in Small Claims Court and fully expect to win a judgement against him. read more

Wish there was a negative star option! Do not give Mark any of your money! Had him out in March for a quote and gave him a deposit in April for a paver project. End of June and he still hadn't shown up even though promised numerous times to be there "tomorrow". Asked for a refund and was promised a full refund. Long story short, had to sue in Small Claims Court. Won my case but Mark has not paid refund as of yet. Also not licensed in Michigan. You might want to check his background before hiring. STOP.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. There are #1 CROOKS. We hired Mark to do two projects. One was a chimney repair and other was brick project. I was not home when they finished the work. They told my wife that they have completed both projects. Instead of doing the work they promised to do in the agreement they did some patch work and told her it is all done and collected $3000. We have called numerous times, they didn't answer unless I called from a different number each time and have been repeatedly lied to. I called from four different numbers and I don't have any other phone number to call him from. He knows all my four phone numbers and does not pick up the phone anymore or respond to my voice message any more. If you are a foreigner Mark and his company will cheat you good. Had Mark out to find and fix a leak coming into my fireplace. They did $4000 dollars worth of repairs on my chimney, but I still have the leak. I have been calling them for over three months. Do not hire this company for any business. We had a contract written In May to do some work on the house and garage. Mark required a deposit of $2000 of the $5200 contract for materials which we gave him. In the following three months we contacted him 6 times to pick out materials and set dates for work. It was, 'I'll be over this afternoon, or be over tomorrow". He never showed up or called to cancel. We finally got a date set to begin work, August 23, ( no materials selected by us yet). Again, a no show and no call and no reschedule. Finally, we called and said cancel the contract because of no schedules, no shows and loss of faith in him. We asked for our deposit back and he said to send an email with the request and he would have the office send it. If I could give less stars I would. They are NOT HONEST upstanding people. Cashed my deposit check before I could even blink back in June but never did the work. Promised a refund multiple times but to date still no money returned to me. One promise made after another and then all of those promises broken. Stories and excuses aplenty. Sympathies if they truly are going through difficult times but they have no concern for what any customer might be going through themselves and how the $$ they have from that customer might be having an impact. Calls and messages remain unanswered. Always was giving them the benefit of the doubt but now I wonder if they are just scammers. NEVER EVER pay with check or cash!! I apparently didn't due my due diligence beforehand with this company and I deeply regret it. Early on after my check was cashed and I told Jackie (Mark's wife, to my understanding) that I was having misgivings based on info I saw on line she assured me that they would prove that info wrong.
