The couples massage was just two tables divided by a curtain. They used a lot of pressure and kept going back to the same spots. There was a bit of a language barrier to be able to communicate the amount of pressure desired. Much of the focus (like at other Asian places) is on the shoulders and back... and it hurt! I liked the hot rocks on the back and certain other areas but I didn't feel relaxed afterwards. You could also hear a lot of things (other people and the phone calls) because everyone is pretty much in the same room. It has a sister location in Orangeburg which I assume is similar. Get a groupon for a better deal. The Plaza contains a Walgreens as well. Parking was easy.

They start by giving you a nice soft blanket, warm foot bath to soak while they massage your head, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. Then comes the warm neck roll, ahhh. Then the chair reclines and they massage your calves and feet, ending with hot stones. We always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. You got to try it.

I found a few places with some eh reviews and then came across Body Connections - reviews were good with some yucky groupon ones thrown in. I've heard horror stories from business owners about groupon customers so I didn't pay any attention to them and just followed my gut. I followed the link to her website and checked her out - looked at pricing ......$25 per tan SAY WHAT?? $25 per tan. I immediately booked one on line. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by Nadine the owner/tanning tech. She explained everything to me - how she tans - her formula - her background - how many years she's been there. Then she sprayed me. I've been to many spray tan places. Both organic and regular. This was BY FAR the BEST tan ever. Nothing weird on my hands and feet. NOTHING. My legs were a bit red so I texted her about it. She replied and told me not to worry. It will turn to brown - she was correct. My tan? It's flawless. It's $25 and FLAWLESS. I will be going every 7 days or so (depending on how it lasts) Amazing experience.

Worst massage ever! They hurt me in three areas which required me to schedule an appointment with…read moremy doctor. Not sure if their staff is licensed. They require you to sign off on the legal document that is a combination of Hold Harmless if they injure you, and a list of service that are included in service your purchased. I listed on the document that I had an injured right arm, and believed that that would indicate they would treat that area with care!! One of the services listed was a change of clothes, so that I assume you change into those clothes for the massage. Despite purchasing a 90 min massage, I was led into a non-private room where there were other customers being worked on... I was never given this change of clothes. So the message person gave me a message through my street clothes...shirt and shorts! I was surprised, as I have had massages before and never have they not provided the message spa wear so that you get the proper benefits of a therapeutic massage. Masseuse did not speak English well, and proceeded to twist my injured arm behind my back [to stretch it]! I said that hurt and she chuckled ! I was shocked that they disregarded the note on my intake form stating that that arm/shoulder was injured. Furthermore, she worked unusually long on my left inner thigh at the juncture of my leg and hip joint, and lower back near my kidneys. I experienced severe pain in three areas after this message for three weeks! : My left hip joint, my lower back / kidneys, and my right arm. Very memorable as a non-enjoyable experience. Buyer beware!
