Alii Kauai Weddings did the best job helping me plan my dream elopement from Texas. I had never been to Kauai or even on a tropical vacation anywhere and they were always available to answer my questions and helped me plan everything out exactly like I wanted. The moment that I realized I had definitely made the right decision hiring them was when our flight got delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight and we got stuck in Los Angeles the night before our wedding! It was so stressful and I don't know what I would have done without Jessica. I called her and explained what happened and that we would not be able to get a flight until the next day ( Sunday, our planned wedding day). She made a miracle happen and was able to move our wedding from Sunday to Monday: flowers, cake, videographer, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator and all! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful to not have to go from the airport straight to our wedding! The vendors that she works with were exceptional. Living in the Bay Area, we did not have the time or money to make repeated trips to Hawaii while planning the wedding. We needed a coordinator who could take our ideas and turn them into reality. Jill is very well-connected to the island community in Kauai - when we needed something, she could get it. It didn't matter if we were looking for a place to eat, a projector or something completely random. Once we selected our vendors, Jill acted as our single point of contact, greatly simplifying the planning process. Jill is also extremely accessible, both by e-mail and telephone. She maintains a spreadsheet with a breakdown of the ceremony and reception details, including price, so it is easy for couples to figure out what tasks remain unfinished (or unaffordable). I don't think any wedding is stress-free, but Wedding in Paradise made our wedding as low-stress as possible.

The value of her service does not even come close to covering the type of first class service and planning that she provides. We were on a tight budget and never once did she make me feel like we were any less important. There was no funny business or attempts at upselling us, she only made adjustments when requested by us. We planned the entire thing via email and phone calls from the Bay Area and after the experience I felt like I knew her and she was a friend. One week prior to the wedding, my husbands father passed away unexpectedly. I reached out to Jill and let her know the situation and that we would like to do something special to remember him. On the day of our wedding, Jill came with a beautiful memorial lei for his father and added a small memorial ceremony into the plans. She did this all complimentary and without a single added fee, we were shocked to discover that and will be forever grateful to her. When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. I was told throughout the planning, leading up to the moment that we were married, how relaxed I was and such an easy-going bride. Part of that was because I had her as our minister. Planning a wedding when you aren't there, can be daunting... but that is where Ms. Kube comes in. Granted it was a small ceremony with only 7 of us total, but there are beach permits to file for, flowers, etc that needed to be done. I first contacted Christine about 8 months before the wedding and I knew immediately that she was going to make this a breeze. We used one of her packages that includes a photographer (Images by Liz) and I would recommend budgeting for this cost. The package is affordable and you are going to be in paradise so you will want to document it. The basic package includes lei for you and your partner, a champagne/cider toast, beach permit, and minister; but you can add to that by including a cake, a musician, hair/make up.. etc. She was able to answer any and all questions I had about Kauai whether it was regarding the wedding or if she knew of the best food truck in Koloa (it is Kauai Food Truck btw). There are 3 ceremonies to choose from; so if you are religious or not at all, or prefer something more Hawaiian, she has them. We were married at Shipwreck Beach at mid-morning (a great time as it was still deserted somewhat), and it was actually a warm day. The ceremony was short and sweet (15 min tops) and then the photographer takes over for the next 45min-1hr.
