Awesome guy! Very good work and very honest. My chimney cap got blown off during some high winds and damaged the already weak clay flue lining (due to condensation inside the clay flue). He replaced and repaired the top of the lining and put a new cap on for me. He also fixed the flashing around the base of the chimney which was not done correctly by the previous owners of the house. I also called these guys because of all these amazing reviews. I spoke to Lee on the phone when I has having water come into my basement through the chimney when it rained. He said he would give me call back after I called initially to set up a time. Kevin, one of his supervisors called me back and came out to my house to do the work. Job was completed and I thought everything was fine. First time it rained after that, water came in again. Keep in mind I have a finished basement. My carpet got wet and I had to pay to have it professionally cleaned and install new padding. I called them back and they said they would come back and fix their repair (warranty is included). Long story short, it rained again last week (and today) and water came in again! So far they have repaired it twice and I am still getting water in my basement after they sealed it twice. I now have to stay home when it rains to continually dry up the area to keep my carpet from getting ruined. I let them know this again and they said they would take care of it. So far it has not been. If this eventually gets taken care of I will update my review but as of now (3/31/16) I am out $1400 and am in the same place I started. They came out and completely rebuilt my chimney a few years ago. Amazing customer service, fast response time, showed up when they said they would, and even finished a little ahead of time. They matched my 1953 brick perfectly, and the job they did was flawless. They also beat my lowest quote by $100. And most importantly, they stopped the water that was coming in through the chimney and causing water damage on my ceilings. Hire this guy, he's amazing. Super respectful and very careful to keep your house clean. I have two natural fireplace chimneys and he thoroughly cleaned one and told me the other one was in great shape and didn't require cleaning. Called A Cheaper Sweeper based on his yelp reviews and have to say I now know why he has all five star reviews. My elderly mother was very stressed all week with animals in her chimney, she had called a company that came out scarred her with horror stories and left without doing anything except put a little cage on the roof. I then called Lee based on his reviews and he did not let me down. Came exactly when he promised and was so kind to my mom while 100% taking care of getting rid of a dead animal in the chimney, cleaning it and making a special cap for her chimney to keep animals out. Wish all companies treated their customers like Lee. Will definitely refer him to anyone in need of chimney services! read more

I think this might have been the best customer service experience I have ever had. Lee was fantastic, and very friendly, and he made me chuckle. He kept calling me "young fella", I'm not that young of a fella. He made me a VERY fair deal to cleaning out the chimney for the fireplace and the chimney for our fuel oil burner in our main house and our carriage house. If you know anything about fuel oil you know this is incredibly messy work, he pulled about 4 lbs of soot out and took it with him to dispose of, when he left I wanted to take photo of him he was covered head to toe in black soot. While cleaning out our chimney for the fireplace in the big house he came across some problems. When we bought our house it had been vacant for a couple of years, in an attempt, I presume, to "winterize" the house, several big wads of insulation had been shoved up into the chimney. This explains why we were never able to start a fire. The next issue he ran into was a problem with the damper at the top, due to the way it was installed half of the metal disc was covering the opening. It took quite a bit of doing but he got it fixed. I am incredibly happy with his work, the service and the price, and now we are able to use our wood burner, which pretty much heats our whole house! Our fuel oil burner has only kicked on a couple times in the past week! Oh btw... I didn't mention, he took my call on a saturday and came out the next day on a Sunday! read more

Absolutely the best experience. I had a leak in my chimney (the prior flashing was poorly done). I called a Cheaper Chimney Sweeper and Repair asking for a quote and left a message. Within an hour or two I got a call back saying he could come out the next day for a free quote. The next day Lee called and said he was on his way and confirmed the address. He hopped on the roof, informed me my roof had about 4-5 years left (same as what my inspector said so he knows what he's talking about) and said I just needed a simple tar patch. He said he could do it right away before the rain started and just had to run to get supplies. He gave me a great price I couldn't turn down. He came back with his buddy and quickly completed the job. We stood back and he showed me his work. It looks great. I'm so happy with the FAST service and extremely KIND staff.
