This review is for all three just mentioned. For such a large and fancy house, I fully expected the items in the shop to all be ridiculously-priced, but was pleasantly surprised at the variety of price points that could be found here. Make no mistake, there is some expensive stuff here! But it isn't all crazy expensive, either. At the small Christmas store, RBLUHM was very nice and chatty with me as I browsed and as she handled my purchase. I found a very nice candle on sale to give as a gift and she did a great job packaging it up. At the confectionary, my only complaint was that the space is a bit too small to browse comfortably. That being said, staff was great as I stocked up on local food items to bring back for my team. The chocolates looked great, but I was concerned about them making the journey back home safely! The main store at the end of the building is really the showcase for Biltmore items, from the wines to clothing, and other souvenirs with several cash stations and welcoming staff. I snagged a bottle of wine made on site as a Christmas gift and some local preserves for my mom--jam is her jam!

This shop is the largest I saw aside from the Historic Village and was loaded with expensive goodies including clothing, decor, jewelry, and wines. They had a ton of cool and inventive wine accessories as well as nearly all the flavors from the Biltmore winery for sale. A large area had ladies clothing and accessories and they sell little collectibles and memory items from the trip to include postcards, magnets, bookmarks, water bottles, etc. It's a very nice shop and large and easy to navigate. It's well worth the stop if you're already at the restrooms and I saw some items here I hadn't seen in any of the previous shops to this point.

I talked to Wanda and I told her I needed a very special arrangement for a friend's daughter who is battling cancer. I told Wanda that this women's favorite color was red and I talked about something I saw on their website. However it wasn't their website it was one of these 1-800 numbers that don't do arrangements. As Wanda explained to me those companies, FTD, put pictures that look nice and when you call them, after taking your money, they in turn call businesses in the city where you want your flowers to come from and ask if they can make a bouquet like what you wanted. I don't know who makes all the money but I think it's the 1-800 companies. I was warned about this years ago from a friend who worked in a florist shop. Bottom line call Clements directly. Unfortunately, the last few visits has been due to deaths in our family, most recently being my mother's sister(my aunt). We have used Clements as our go to florist several times , with this being no different. Due to arriving into town a few days before the funeral , we made a mad dash to Clements to see if they could have a flower arrangement made for the next day. The lady and gentleman( I apologize for not getting their names)who greeted my mother, my daughters, and myself as if we were old friends. They were so warm, courteous, and accommodating. They were more than happy to make sure our request would be handled with the short time we provided and utmost care. With prices increasing everyday, this arrangement more than exceeded our expectations. The gentleman gave us a handful of beautiful flowers, just because. With the sad circumstances that we were facing , this put a smile on all of our faces. Again, we've been here several times and have always been treated in the most heart warming way.
