These people wrecked our home. They "repaired" our foundation by pumping so much foam under it that…read moreit blew out the side of the house and erupted in the middle of our bedroom floor. We have huge humps in our kitchen and can no longer open the pantry door. This is AFTER we did a complete remodel with all brand new kitchen cabinets. The guy they sent out to do the work stopped us in the middle of doing the work and told us he was not comfortable. He told us he did not know what he was doing. We relayed the information back to Liberty foundation and they insisted that he continue. We have been going through months of them telling us they are going to make it right. But that is the complete opposite of what they have done. They have done nothing but give us the runaround. So our only option is to take legal action. Do not use this company. All they do is contract out unskilled laborers.

Called to request a foundation inspection, as the home is 30 years old, we have some very minor…read moretile cracks, and do see some seasonal movement in door openings (mostly one upstairs one). Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures. The home had some foundation work done in the early 80's but we just new it was time for more leveling. Joe did a thorough assessment, climbing under the house and walking all around it, inside and out, with his level. After inspecting the work that had been done, He was very honest in telling us it did not need the additional work we thought was needed. No telling how much he saved us in his honest assessment. We cannot thank him enough in a specialized service industry that is quite easy to take a homeowner for their money. We have had that happen before so this renewed our faith in good, honest business owners.
