Brian came out to assess cracks in our exterior walls and cracks in the interior by our fireplace. He walked around the exterior then took measurements from the center of the houses to all corner ponts. Fortunately the deviation measurements are within acceptable range and he caution this would not warrant having any work needed. He certainly set our mind at ease. Had Chris out to the house to do an inspection due to tape lines separating in the garage ceiling, occasional creaking noise and a strange sandy soil appearing in the driveway near the foundation. He identified the sand source as coming from a neighbors yard and over or through a retaining wall. He did a thorough inspection and took measurements from around every room and determined that we were all good and didn't need any work done. Refreshing when a foundation contractor tells you that you are all good. I will not hesitate to call again if there are concerns in the future. read more

The Pinnacle team was great from beginnin to end from the first phone call to the last one. They were amazing with answering all of my questions before I even accepted the contract. It started with Yvette, answering my financial questions. Chris came out and did such a thorough inspection of my foundation. He gave me an honest estimate, much lower than the previous companies I had come out prior to them. However, in the end it wasn't about the cost. It was about them being honest. I know that they went above and beyond to help me get my foundation back in shape in this old 1961 house. They were conservative in their estimate, not wanting to do more than necessary, as it may have caused further damage to my walls. Once the work started, Miguel and Jose came each day to walk through, inspect the work and talk to my husband and I about any concerns or questions we may have had. In the end, Kristen (I think that was her name/ sorry if not!) was very helpful with helping me close this out when making my final payment. This was one of the most stressful situations with this house I've had, but Pinnacle made it so easy to handle all that came with owning an old house. Commercial building whose tenant is a known national brand. Received 3 bids. One "over built" the pier req which left 2 companies with similar lift recommendations. The decision to choose Pinnacle came down to the fact that Pinnacle has 12 crews operating in the DFW area which give them a great deal of flexibility on timing and availability. We needed the lift done quickly and even in the seasonally busy month of August, they could book a week out. VERY FAST. The other was 3 weeks and climbing as their book filled. Also, we had a tricky problem in that there was talk of an interior lift but the owner told our sales rep, Jacob, that the interior slab should come up with the exterior lift. It did. This saved us a great deal of money and avoided inconveniencing our tenant who has steady foot traffic. You simply can't pay enough for knowledge that saves you many many $1,000s. They didn't gouge, they were fair. Jacob was excellent in all ways. His pier plan was very close to what the foreman/engineer (Miguel) decided on the day of the lift that we needed. His technical and business knowledge was very good. He made us feel at ease with sheer scope of Pinnacle's customer base. With 12 crews, they do 100s of lifts a year. This means experience. And experience is the name of game when you're spending good money, want the job done efficiently and correct the first time. He was extraordinarily responsive. He surprised the heck out of me when he answered an email that I wrote on a Sunday, that same day. He takes pride in his work, held my hand when things got nerve wracking, answered many questions, sometimes twice and never ever made me feel like I was asking ignorant questions. He is a delight to work with. Miguel the on site foreman knew what he was doing, did it well and ran the crew efficiently. The job was pristine clean when he left. The lift was perfect. It closed our expansion joints and window frames without out buckling/breaking windows. And he was working off two walls of windows. Excellent. Brian, also a leader on the team, called to tell me that that lift went well, talked me through it and asked if I had any questions. So also a very good communicator and a very good system that Pinnacle has in place. The fact that customer service is important to them is exemplified in Kristen. She was our project coordinator for the days after signing to through the lift itself. She was fantastic. The night before the lift, we saw in our building plans that a data/com/elec line was running right alongside the building where the lift was happening. This caused some alarm amongst the owners. But we were told that Miguel would see it and avoid it and Kristen was all over it. She made sure everyone knew the issue. Was a pleasure to communicate with and managed the project effectively. She was very responsive to my emails. We are out of state. We had to have a company that we could rely on to do the lift w/o effecting our tenant. We had to have confidence in the contractor. First off I would like to thank Michele for recommending the crew and putting this all together. I've been in Real Estate for 16 years and never came across a problem of this magnitude. We purchased a new home back in February 2022 and noticed on closing day some of the bricks were cracked. I requested Pinnacle Foundation to perform an inspection of my foundation. Prior to choosing this company, I did my research to ensure I chose a reputable company. I received excellent customer service from beginning to end. I received a message on Friday to confirm appointment for Monday. I received a message on Sunday from the inspector as well. On Monday, I was opening my door to await his arrival, and he arrived right on time (a few minutes early). The inspector provided education on ways to prevent foundation problems. He was thorough and not in a hurry. The end result was no foundation problem, and I was not charged a dime for this valuable information. Although I attempted to provide money for his time and awesome service, it was declined. I can't think of a time in my ? years of life that I have received excellent service. Excellent all around! Facing a foundation lift made me anxious and based on their glowing reviews I found Pinnacle. I am so glad I called them because they've done everything to make this as stress-free as possible. Robby Brown came out and measured and let us know what needed to be done. He was super kind and answered our questions, and answered more questions we had later quickly each time we emailed. Throughout the process, everyone at Pinnacle remained highly responsive and absolutely delightful to work with from the office staff to the people who come out to the house and the workers. Pinnacle includes everything needed before, during, and after which makes the process that much more smooth and adds to the peace of mind. We were told upfront what would happen during the lift, and we even had someone come out a week before the lift to tape where the interior lift would be and tell us what furniture, if any, needed to be moved. He was super kind and explained what would happen and answered our questions and listened to our concerns. Everyone who came out to the house respected our property and even wore shoe coverings, they also wore masks when we asked. We received calls and texts with ETA's before they arrived. The days of the lift, the workers let us know they arrived and what they were about to do and covered the space with plastic and tarps to prevent dust. Then the day of the major lift, Jeff LeGear arrived before the house was raised and was friendly and kind while explaining what was about to happen and what could happen, measured and explained what was about to happen, what could happen, and stayed through the lift and after to run checks and ensure everything was okay. The workers cleaned up after and took down the tarps and let us know they were leaving before they left. After the lift, Pinnacle called and text to make sure we were happy and to set up appointments for the after work and checks. I keep saying it but Pinnacle's staff is so nice to work with, and they've really helped us stay calm throughout this process. Moved into an older home and about a month in large cracks started appearing on the dry wall all around the house. The cracks were long, some over 12", and they are in every single hallway, around every door frame and every window. Our front door and door to the garage also go so stuck we couldn't really open/close them. We knew of the foundation shifting issue in North Dallas, but have never experienced it first hand. When the cracks first started to appear, I thought we just needed to wait til the house finishes settling from the heat and things would go back to normal. I really started to lose confidence when more cracks kept appearing. It's really scary to see 3-4 cracks on the same wall. It makes you feel like the walls are going to cave in on you. Met with Chris from Pinnacle Foundation after I've had a proper freak out about all the cracks. Just spent a lot of money to have my foundation repaired. Roddy came out for the quote. They had the best quote. But the main reason we choose Pinnacle was that they offered the void fill. We had out Ram Jack, G.L. Hunt, and Oshan. All of the Pinnacle guys worked very hard. We had 26 piers. Our home is now completely level. There were a few hiccups; pulling down the plastic before sweeping that left a cloud of dust in the area where they were working (downstairs). And during the void fill the machine they used to push the mud filled our home with carbon monoxide. We had to direct them to turn the machine off. They moved the gas powered machine out to the alley, this cured the problem. Miguel, the supervisor was so very courteous and listened intently to our concerns and brought instant solutions to each issue. We have not yet had a review of the engineers report. Hopefully, they will be very soon. Yes, I would recommend Pinnacle. I don't think that the others would be so encompassing for this job. read more

Finally time to review Pinnacle Foundation. It's been two months and it seems like the foundation has settled. The entire staff and crew (from office staffs to the onsite staff) who worked on my home are very professional. They kept me up-to-date on all work and setback. I don't remember foundation work being fast but they got the job done in under a week. They even came out in the rain and one Saturday to get the job done. I'm extremely happy with the work they did. Everything was put back into place. I was curious at how they drill the piers down to a point where they can't press anymore. LOVE THIS COMPANY I've been trying to get my husband to write a review for months but it hasn't happened, so instead I'd like to share my experience through his. Foundation issues have always been a concern of mine when owning a house because I've heard so many nightmarish stories about how people suddenly had to pay thousands of dollars to fix something you might not even notice. So when I started seeing staircase cracks forming in the brick walls around our house and hairline cracks simultaneously forming on the inside of the house, I thought we were going to be some of those people as well. Everything on the Internet led me to believe that I needed to proceed like a chicken with its head cut off and I pretty much operated like that for weeks. The fact that it was in the middle of hellish 2020 helped nothing. In between meltdowns, I did some research on what company we should have come out and take a look at the house. Now normally it seems like a lot of foundation repair companies have a history of trying to scam people out of all their money, and I didn't expect great reviews from any company around. When I saw this company had many, MANY glowing 5 star reviews, I felt like I'd found a rare unicorn and wasn't about to let it go. We scheduled a (free) consultation and Robby came out to look at the house with my husband while I was at work, anxiously biting my nails. He came to the conclusion that our house has experienced a typical (not concerning) amount of shift and wasn't phased by the cracks he saw (that phased ME enough to lose several nights of sleep over). He also said that if we wanted to do any type of less expensive fixes like mud jacking in certain areas of the house then we could, but he didn't necessarily recommend it. He also gave his advice on using soaker hoses around the house more regularly to better stabilize and control the expansion and contraction of the soil surrounding the foundation. Which I have done religiously since, and it's seemed to work great. My husband said Robby was very polite and explained things well, answering all the questions his panicked wife wanted answered and he even offered to answer any of my follow up questions through email. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE. One of the best things was getting an email from Robby not long after the visit that had all of the various shift amounts recorded in each part of the house within each room that was carefully measured with the equipment he brought, to tangibly PROVE I could calm the heck down. It was great to know that our house was looked at by an expert that has had foundation experience run generations back in his family and that he knew exactly what he was doing. It was probably the biggest relief I experienced in 2020 when it felt like the whole world was ending and that at least I knew for a fact my house wasn't about to crumble along with it. I am writing this review months after the experience, but I haven't forgotten how grateful we have been for all of it. Peace of mind doesn't always come free but in this case it most certainly did. I was concerned about some moisture penetration I was sitting in a corner of the house and another service person told me it may be prudent to get the foundation looked at, especially before considering a sale. Like most people, I was not familiar with foundation repairs and the process that was involved and was apprehensive to engage in something like this, so I interviewed 6 DFW foundation repair companies and did my own research on the subject so I would be an informed consumer. The CEO/Owner of Pinnacle Foundation Repair, Robby Brown, came out to do an inspection on a Saturday morning and reviewed the independent engineering study I paid to have done. Pinnacle *just* left our house and I HAD to come and review. Long story short, we're looking to get our windows replaced and we were advised to have our foundation checked beforehand. We were understandably worried, because you hear horror stories of "total overhauls" and we had a few questionable doors and cracks that we weren't sure of. Robby came to do a free evaluation. Professional, friendly, and very thorough, he let us know that he thought our foundation was in great shape, but took measurements all the same so we could have a baseline of where the house is right now. Robby with Pinnacle was awesome! Total five star service. I called to see if it were possible to get a short notice foundation inspection for a home we are buying. We only had 2 days left in our option period, hence the rush for an inspection (was prompted by the general home inspection). Originally I was told they didn't have availability on such short notice, but they called me back a few minutes later and were able to do some juggling to make it work. I think Robby gave up his lunch to take care of me. Robby arrived on time, was dressed professionally, and got to work right away. I walked the home with him and he used a device to look for differences in foundation elevation. We also inspected the concrete foundation that was visible on the outside of the home. After driving all the way out to nearly Denton, on his lunch break, Robby let me know that the foundation was well within normal limits and that nothing needed to be repaired. The small cracks in the tile were normal, and caused by very small up and down movement from the moisture that we get during the rainy months. He did spot some cracks around the outside of the home, but informed me that they were just cosmetic and didn't need to be patched (outside of aesthetic reasons). I was extremely pleased with his honesty, willingness to sacrifice his time, and after all that, $0 in compensation (now I feel like I need to mail the guy a tip... I didn't have any cash). Lets start with the booking process. The office staff, and in particular Kyla, are exceptionally hard working and dedicated in ensuring an awesome, seamless experience. During the scheduling of two separate consultations for foundation inspection, Kyla worked tirelessly to ensure that Chris could come out as quickly as possible to accommodate a crazy closing schedule for houses we were thinking of buying. Truly exceptional customer service for this day and age. Then came the actual inspection. Chris is also phenomenal. He was communicative and above all, honest. He did thorough inspections of both houses and ensured that appropriate measures were taken to prevent unnecessary work while advising on possible preventive measures and work that may be required at later dates.
