So much so that I have four of his black and whites up in my dining room. The first thing people notice when entering that room are the photographs. The first time I saw his work was at McLean Animal Hospital. He used to be a photographer with UPI and began working for himself. There were some postcards about the artist in the waiting room so I took one and got in touch. At the time I had a specialty retail store and I called to let him know he's welcome to display his work there. It added so much to the decor and feel of the place. He certainly wasn't the cheapest but he had the most impressive body of work. We hired him for our quinceanera, and did he deliver. My daughter unfortunately takes after her mother-inlaw. To say we were blown away by the quality is a complete understatement. The session was efficient, he understood exactly what my husband wanted, and we got the digital image quickly (we didn't order prints). While my husband was recognized as an expert in his field before, he is now getting recognition beyond anything he could have imagined, and his headshot is all over. I know this made a huge difference, there is no way NASA, Lufthansa and multipe others would be advertising him as a "top class" expert with a selfie or a casual shot taken with an iPhone. We were so satisfied we decided to set up a session with my son for his senior portraits. My kid is surly and hates being photographed, and mostly refuses to smile (probably shouldn't have spent thousands of dollars on braces ) Over the course of 1.5 hours Jared probably took 400 pictures, but made my son feel so at ease, he never complained, the time flew by, and he was so proud of the results. Years ago Stacey took an iconic (among our family and friends) photo of my son sulking off to the left of the Washington monument when my husband and I were were standing to the right smiling while pregnant with our daughter.
