Bought a boutonniere for my daughters Prom date from Wes's flowers, ordering it was awkward to say the least, no options, just a single flower for $20, was super disappointed when I picked it up. They sent a little bag of salted caramel chocolates that looks like it came from the grocery store. During our initial consultation she was attentive and listened to my likes/dislikes and made suggestions and showed me pictures/examples of what she had in mind which was so helpful to me as someone who isn't well versed in types of flowers. What an exceptional experience from start to finish. I placed an order Friday night and requested a pick up at around 10:30am. I get a call from Steve shortly after about my selection of flowers. He states that he would have to alter my original selection due to one of the specific flowers not being up to his/the company's standard. At first I was saddened, but then he reassured me that he would choose a great alternative and even sent me a picture before it was finalized. I appreciate the transparency and the commitment to excellent customer service. I trusted his expertise and he didn't disappoint. I was even worried about my friend picking up the flowers since she was going solo (I live in San Francisco and she lives in Winchester). She said they boxed up the flowers and it was an easy pick up, which is so great to know! The last picture shows the flowers where they belong with the card I added during the online check out process. My friend's family experienced a death in the family and I wanted to send my love, even though I was on the opposite side of California. My friend said her aunt cried when she was given the flowers. I think that's the best compliment for the situation. You can't put a price on something like that. Another shout out to Steve. He really tied the experience together and I truly appreciate the call for the transparency and the text just to make sure I liked his alternative. Sorry to have to review this way, but after i saw the charge on the credit card i just had to. So, my husband calls and talks out exactly what he's looking for and wants in my birthday bouquet. Everything's all good so he thinks and it should be delivered. He gets a call hours later saying they have no roses. Of course he's upset and they tell him they'll figure it out. I guess figuring it out is running to Albertsons and buying some cheap roses was their solution. The roses died right away and there were 6 in the arrangement. The to top it off they taped the flowers down in the vase and when i pulled the tape off, the red coloring on the vase came off with all the tape. They charged him $92.00 for this bouquet. I wanted flowers delivered to my friend for her birthday. The florist called me the day before to confirm order and the condition of the roses. They delivered the roses. My friend said she didn't open the door because she wasn't expecting company. The florist was adamant to make sure the flowers were not outside in the heat on the porch. My friend didn't answer but Steve called me to make sure I knew they were outside in very cold water and delivered. He stated he hated to leave them outside, but he tried his best to knock and wait patiently for a few minutes before rushing off. I loved this service.
