My name is Christine Ball and I am the General Manager of A Family Tree School-Age Enrichment Program. My story is unique in the way that about 6 years ago I was a single parent who enrolled my children in A Family Tree School-Age Enrichment Program. At the time I worked at a local hospital working long hours. Choosing the right after school program was important to me because I needed a center that was open on days that my two younger children had no school, had a fun summer program and activities as well as support for homework. I wanted a place that would give me peace of mind. A Family Tree offered all that and more! I was so pleased with the program! So much so that I had the opportunity to work for the very program I had enrolled my children in. As the General Manager it was important to me that I believe and invested in the company I had grown fond of. It wasn't a hard sell. Their mission to provide high quality care while fostering leadership, independence and self- esteem was exactly the program I had been looking for. More importantly they value diversity, friendships and community gave me peace of mind knowing they were part of a ''family''. My son Eric was able to enjoy after school activities as well as that peace of mind for myself to know he was safe and well supervised.He enjoyed the many field trips, community events as well as the Summer Camp. He never wanted to leave at pick up! My daughter Jessica was able to do what she loves to do as she participated in their dance program which grew into a life of its own allowing her to perform in community events as well partake in competitions. The skills she leaned while attending A Family Tree has benefited her to this day as she teaches dance and also now an Assistant Teacher in A Family Tree's After School Program so she too can inspire young people that no matter where you come from, financial status,cultural differences,size or color you can have the same opportunities and achieve whatever you set your mind to ! Today I am excited to tell parents and potential families about our programs philosophy. Learning through play we are able to connect , educate and inspire children to become actively involved in the learning process. Aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards we are able to expose students to the nine standards to ensure a well rounded education. As a parent it was equally important to get involved in the program and also to meet other families in our community. Let's not forget the perks......Who doesn't like to play! I know I do. Not only do I get to play, educate and inspire students on a daily basis but I also have the opportunity to work side by side some of the best team of educators. I am writting this review not only as a staff member but also as a parent. My daughter has been going to A Family tree since she was 2.5 and she is now 7 and still attends. At A Family tree my daughter learned how to read when she was only 4yrs old. She has made some of the most amazing friendships that I know will last a life time. I trust the staff with my daughter whole heartedly and know they have nothing but her best interest at heart. As a staff member I have grown so much and have even decided to go back to school. I couldn't have done this without the support of my fellow coworkers. They have been right by my side to help me along the way, they have made me realize that not only am I bettering myself but I'm also showing my daughter how important education really is. My name is Marci Banach. I am the Education Coordinator at Family Tree for almost two years. But I also have three boys within the company. My twins have been at The Family Tree on Edythe street for 4 years and my youngest has been at Warwick from 6 weeks old and he will be 3 on Monday. My children love the centers and are comfortable with all the staff. They are understanding, kind,fun, and knowledgeable in what they do. I have known the owners for over 12 years. They are always there for the employees and parents whenever they are needed. With numerous years of experience they are still always looking on how help the children learn and grow with a nurturing and positive environment at every center. I just started working at Family Tree this past week. The staff are super nice and friendly. This is a great place to work and a great place for your children. My son Nicholas has been going to Family Trees' other location since he was 3 months old and he is now 20 months old and loves going to daycare everyday. The staff is very friendly and caring so I know my son is in good hands when I'm not with him. I would definitely recommend this daycare to any family. Nicholas has learned so much. When I first walked into this daycare during our tour I felt at home. The atmosphere was so inviting and the staff so pleasant. I also love seeing all the activities they do with the children and being able to check on Nicholas throughout the day using the LifeCubby app. Family Tree is a great school/daycare. read more

My family has been with Family Tree for 6 years. My oldest went there before he attended public schools and attends during the summer. My youngest currently attends for the pre-k program. We, as parents could not be happier with the education our children have been receiving. The schools are always very clean and fun for the kids. Each center is painted coordinating with the seasons and look amazing. The teachers are also amazing. My youngest used to have attachment issues but because the teachers are so loving, he no longer has issues with me leaving when I drop him off. Family tree is a BEST Childcare and Summer camp! the owners Ms Erica and Ms Christian go out of there way for the family's and truly are dedicated to there families. The staff are wonderful. The student's are also wonderful and enjoy every moment there spend at family tree. My Son has been there for over 7 years he just turned 13. My daughter was one of family trees first babies @ 18mnths! She will be 6 November 30th. I always suggest family tree to everyone and everyone that I have suggested loves the center! Can't be any more happier with family tree my boyfriend and I chose for our 4 month old son. All the teachers are super nice and love my son. My son has learned a lot with the time being there and is always very happy. The thing I most like about this daycare is they have an application and inform me about everything going on with him. Our daughter has been going for over a year now. We absolutely LOVE it! The teachers are very involved and she has learned so much in her time here. She always looks forward to going and always comes home excited to tell us what she has learned that day. Their structure is great for little who thrive with routine. My child is 2 and goes to this daycare..... she loves her teachers and all the friends she has there!!!! All the staff are super nice and friendly and loving and caring to all of the kids that go there. all the staff greets all the kids by their name!!! The family tree has a family feel to it....
