My daughter attended Tender Hearts from the age of 2 months old to 6 years old! My only complaint is that the school only goes up to Kindergarten, I wished my daughter could have stayed unit College! The owners Deb and Thomas, the director Lisa, the nurse Karen and all of the wonderful teachers are AMAZING and QUALIFIED!!!! I did a lot of research before sending my child to strangers and most locations do not have qualified teachers, they just meet the ratio needed per guidelines. I honestly can not say enough about how much I appreciate each and everyone at Tender Hearts, they were able to care for my daughter and be her other family while she learned motor skills, social skills, educational skills, reach milestones, etc. I always felt included while at work with pictures, emails, and updates. I like that they have secure fingerprint check ins and check outs and they always had the fire department and police department come talk to the kids about safety. The nurse Karen is at the location FULL TIME, which again is not a given at a daycare. Karen puts her heart into making sure kids are healthy and safe and helps parents cope with health situations. I read some of the poor ratings on yelp and I feel like those who had a bad experiences may have had issues that were resolved in a way that didn't favor their opinions. The thing that I like about Deb and Lisa is that they do not allow any BS, they are professional but stern because they put safety first. Even if they would love to help anyone with a situation, if it does not benefit the overall well being of the other students it will not be permitted. The staff is always extremely helpful in dealing with split-family households making sure all parents are included and appreciated, including the step-parents. My husband always appreciated getting sweet art projects form my daughter on Father's Day. The art projects are tearjerkers, I do not know how they come up with such cute ideas! I feel like all too often people only take the time to write reviews if they had a bad experience and the good experiences are just accepted as such. 5 stars are not enough. I entrusted Tender Hearts with my daughter from age 1 through Kindergarten and I would do it all again if faced with the same decision. The staff at Tender Hearts is caring, nurturing, professional, mindful, proactive, safety minded, and the list goes on. I really cannot say enough good things about this day care. I looked at 3 prospective day cares before enrolling my daughter and Tender Hearts came out on top. Their rates are in line with what other like centers are charging, their hours are convenient to the average working persons schedule, they are flexible, they closed maybe once for weather related reasons in the 5 years I went there, they have a nurse on staff, safety is a priority, their communication level and style is just right (not too much and not too little), payment options are convenient, and most importantly, they taught my daughter far more than I ever could have on my own. The biggest thing that I took away from Tender Hearts was the friends and relationships that we built. I am still in contact with several parents that I met at birthday parties and in passing throughout my tenure there and hope to remain in contact with them for years to come while our children grow up with one another because they too, are still friends. I extend my deepest and sincere appreciation to our Tender Hearts family for providing me with 9 years of peace of mind. The love, care and compassion towards my family was exceptional. All the love and support over the years cannot be measured. Both my girls started at Tender Hearts when they were 3 months old. When I decided to enroll my first daughter in daycare, I was so worried due to all the horror stories that I heard about lot of daycares. A friend at work recommended Tender Hearts. I fell in love with the environment and the staff during the tour. Making that move to enroll my children at Tender Hearts was the best decision of my life. I dropped my children off in the morning and did not have to look back until it was pickup time. This was because I knew they were well cared for. The teachers love and care for my children like their own. When my oldest aged out, she would cry many days requesting to go back. Whenever she visited to pick up her sister, all the delay tactics in the world were implemented to prevent leaving. My younger one would often ask on weekends "Mommy do I have school"? After countless tours at area childcare facilities, we toured Tender hearts and immediately fell in love. Our son (at that time foster child and now adopted) was 6 weeks old when we enrolled him. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. The infant room teachers, loved our child like their own. Nurse Karen remains a great resource for us. The care he received was beyond amazing. As he graduated to each room, we were always kept in the loop of progress he was making. The daily reports were detailed and made me feel a sense of comfort. My second favorite room was when he reached the Toddler room. Miss Dana is an asset to Tender Hearts and to us. She leads with a caring heart and is a tender soul. She meets every child where they are at and treats them with dignity and care. As our son has a developmental delay, his speech was the most impacted. We involved Early Intervention and Tender Hearts worked with his providers and allowed them to conduct visits with him and were involved in his goals. Additionally, we hired professional resources and eventually needed to seek a public school setting for Pre-K to get the necessary resources as well as an IEP. That is the only reason we left there, otherwise he would have been there until he graduated. Our son is now thriving along with his speech. Our infant daughter started at Tender Hearts at 4 months, and we can't say enough about how much we adore them! As a nervous first time mom, the Tender Hearts team have been a tremendous gift to our whole family. Truthfully, there were daycares that were more convenient for us locationally, but we chose Tender Hearts because of how warm and knowledgable the teachers and directors were, and how much they all seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. We definitely made the right call -- our daughter has thrived in the Infant Room! She gets a great big grin on her face when she sees her teachers each morning, and she leaves each afternoon happy, stimulated, well-fed, and having napped much better than my husband and I can ever seem to manage at home. The space itself is bright, well-organized, and extremely clean. But our favorite aspect of Tender Hearts are the staff, many of whom have been at TH for decades and are always happy to offer gentle advice if asked. We LOVE that there is a nurse on-site -- and not just any nurse, but Nurse Karen, who is an absolute font of warmth and wisdom. Most importantly, these folks love our child and appreciate the things about her that make her unique (within a week they had taken to calling her The Giggler due to her hearty belly laugh). In a household with two working parents, we had to put our son in daycare at 3 months old. After looking at several options, we chose Tender Hearts due to its convenience (located in the same plaza as my work), cleanliness, and how friendly the staff was. The cost is comparable to other similar daycare facilities. Additionally, we have a family friend who was already sending one of his kids there and was very happy with the experience. When our son was a baby I popped in every day to see him on my lunch break. I was always happy with what I saw and experienced in spending time in the room with the staff and other children. Other parents also often popped in on a regular basis. As my son has gotten older he has thrived at Tender Hearts. He has learned much more than he ever would have at home with me full time, has made some great friends, and rarely wants to leave at the end of the day. My Wife and I had to make the decision to send are son Jack to day care around the age of 1. Like every parent we were scared and concerned. After looking at many day cares in the Warwick area we came across Tender Hearts. Lisa went out of her way to give not only my Wife and I the tour but my mother as well. She really put us at ease. Jack has now been enrolled for almost a year. The first couple of weeks were very tuff leaving Jack for the first time. Miss Rosie and the rest of the staff in the crawler room really took it to the next level to help make my son feel comfortable. They also sent us pictures daily to help us feel better as well. I feel like they are all family. My son is in good hands. He has now recently moved to the young toddlers room. My son Jack first started going to Tender Hearts last April, right after he turned one. We were so nervous about leaving him and how he would adjust being in daycare for the first time. Tender Hearts was so great with the transition. Jack loved the Crawler Room and all of his teachers, especially Rosie! He had fun every day with new crafts, songs and lessons. He is always learning new things and developing. They also send us pictures via email so we can see Jack and all the fun he is having ! Tender Hearts staff is friendly and the owner Lisa is very helpful with any of our needs! The center is always clean - which is very important with kids. You can always stop in any time for a visit. We looked at a lot of day cares in Warwick before picking Tender Hearts. I am very happy with our choice. When I took my daughter to Tender Hearts on her first day of daycare over three years ago, I never knew how much we would grow to love all of the teachers and staff at Tender Hearts. With two children now enrolled, we have always found professional staff, compassionate teachers, and have met a wonderful network of other parents and children. My son has been attending Tender Hearts since he was 4 months old and is now in their Pre K Program. My son absolutely loves going every day and my husband and I feel so good knowing he is in a safe and loving environment. I interviewed over 10 plus daycares and when I toured Tender Hearts, I knew. It was the only place I felt like I could leave my infant at the time and know she would be safe. Every room my daughter moved into, I fell in love with the teachers and so did she. The staff took care of her like she was there own. I can't imagine having her anywhere else. We enrolled our first daughter at Tender Hearts when she was an infant and now also send our younger daughter. Every teacher they have had since starting in the infant room has been great. The girls have learned so much in each room and we have always felt that they have been well taken care of and happy! The teachers keep the parents informed as to how the kids are doing and they also keep the parents in the loop as far as things they are learning, sending pictures of fun activities they have done throughout the day, etc. I have recommended Tender Hearts to friends since joining and will continue to do so! read more

Tenderhearts is the best daycare hands down. I was extremely nervous when I had to return to work and find a daycare to take care of my son. I went on a tour of Tenderhearts and I was more than satisfied. The employee's there are amazing. They are always 100% attentive to my child and all the other children there. My son LOVES going to school there. It even can be hard sometimes to get him to leave because of all his friends. I have full comfort and no worries throughout my day knowing that my child is in such caring and capable hands.
