The facility is so clean and very well lite so you can see when you go into each room not dark like some other establishments. The curriculum is above all else. My son learned Spanish, sign language, math, science and many more things. I honestly wish this school continued into K-5. Our son would be staying. The special bonds the kids made with each classroom as they went through the years is so special. Extra activities included water play days, prom for the class , petting zoo. My son is now graduating to Kindergarten and is already reading and writing. From the very onset of our time here, we've always felt like the staff loves our children as if they were there own. When Covid hit, we were reassured that our children were safe and they were. Tender Hearts approach was always to be as pragmatic as possible while abiding the Dept. of Health guidelines. We actually tried to move our children closer to home after my husband and I shifted to working remotely and we ended up right back at Tender Hearts because we learned there is no place like it. Additionally, the staff is extremely communicative, caring, and thoughtful regarding the care of my infant. The space is always tidy and well taken care of. As a family, a parent (or grandparent, guardian, etc) contributes time on one school day a month in your child's classroom and devotes at least two hours of time to the annual May Fair fund raiser. The result is a great family vibe that is a socially nurturing environment within a solid academic curriculum. My oldest (the only one in elementary school at this point) was super well-prepared, socially and academically, to enter kindergarten. Impressive for a half-day program. The session is chock full of good learning for these kids. I have my second child finishing up the four year old program here in May and my youngest entering the three year old program in the fall. I almost wish that I had more children just so I could hang out here more than the two years I have ahead. Yeah...I love it that much.
