This was the best meal I had in Lisbon (and it's not even Portuguese!). It's like stepping into your grandmother's living room or backyard, with its cozy pillows, tiled tables, and moroccan lights. The owner came out to great us and knew we didn't know what to order, so she picked everything for us! And honestly, she knew best. We had tagine baked chicken and lemon, tagine lamb and artichoke, and a vegetable couscous with an assortment of vegetable sides (spinach, eggplants, hummus) paired with mint moroccan tea! Worth every penny, and she was so warm and helpful.

Food was just right delicious. And the ambience was very local. In addition to us and another couple, there were three ladies that were enjoying their dinners alone, making it feel like a very safe space for neighborhood folks to enjoy a dinner out. Highly recommend for a nice night out.

I didn't realize the Portuguese eat a little bit later at night. It felt like I was in my own private restaurant so that was super funny to think about. Otherwise, though it was such a vibe, it has such a cute interior with paintings on the wall a Christmas tree on the side and a more modern wooden finish. Bathroom is also located on the first floor and it's very clean. Service was fantastic. My waiter, Nabil, was so friendly. He chatted with me and told me a little bit about Portugal. English was not a problem for him and I had no trouble as an English tourist. Service was fast, and he checked in with me every couple minutes. I had gone here as a recommendation from a coworker, and it was fantastic. The duck confit was cooked so tender and served with rice and spinach. The rice tasted cheesy and rich and it was also perfectly balanced with the meal. I highly recommend that as a dish! Otherwise, though, I ordered the green wine and it was pretty good. In Lisbon, I was told to try the green wine because it's from a specific region. It tastes kinda like a Chardonnay.
