After an exhausting day of sightseeing, an excellent nearby dinner was just the thing. There are two full menus here: Moroccan food and Indian food. We flipped a coin and went with Moroccan, though I'm sure there are no wrong answers. Our meals were plentiful and terrific. Being in a country devoted to tiles, the décor in Marrakesh is perfectly appropriate. Walls covered in intricate, colorful patterns provide a terrific atmosphere for a pleasant meal. There was only one glitch, but it's something that visitors to Lisbon should be aware of - the credit card processing here is apparently not set up for foreign transactions. Paying cash was no problem at all - the prices are very reasonable, but credit card snafus are always disconcerting. That said, I'd happily return to Marrakesh any time.
