They use high pressure; even their low-pressure techniques are very strong. This is not your traditional massage; it is Eastern "medicine," and their approach reflects that. If you are an athlete who needs your muscles worked out, or are looking for a "no pain, no gain" style of deep tissue massage, you will not regret it! The massages we're uncomfortable even after I told them to go softer. I was forced to tip $10-$15. Never have I ever been forced to tip a certain amount after paying at least $100 for a 1 hour massage. The young man at the desk did not speak enough English to answer my questions so I went with the 30 minute foot massage. They also offer full body massages, but I have not tried any of them. Was very dissatisfied with my service!! And they made me tip more than I wanted!! I was clear on my dissatisfaction of the service, such as them being very harsh and cutting my time short. And there solution was to make excuses and not fit my needs. The massage was very harsh and uncomfortable, I voiced how it was harsh and they would instead stop and go back to doing the same as they were. I genuinely could not enjoy my massage because of how much it was hurting rather than relaxing. Furthermore, my appointment was for 4:30 and meant to end at 5:30, We ended around 5:20 and were sort of rushed out as if they were waiting to get new people in and us out. Even after my service I still choose to give a $5 tip even with the dissatisfaction, and they insisted on me giving more and said the average is $10-15 and I need to tip that amount. After I specifically stated how I was dissatisfied with my service they said how they will not want to serve me again if I do not tip the preferred amount. Horrible back spasms for 5 days. Got an hour massage and while I felt immediately better, my back spasmed badly after I got dressed. I've seen a lot of negative reviews so I felt compelled to write about my experience. I made an appointment to get a full-body hour-long massage. Walking in, I was greeted by the receptionist and then was immediately led back to their massage rooms. Everything looked clean & professional, I also loved the lighting. I arrived at about 12:50ish pm and the massage started at around 12:55-1pm. She finished at 2 pm on the dot. The masseuse was excellent, it's a shame I didn't catch her name before I left. There were a few knots in my shoulders, so she did apply deep tissue techniques which were great. I swear I fell asleep at some points. If she was too harsh, she would lighten up immediately after being informed. They use hot towels and stones as part of the massage, which was a great addition! She was very professional and took her time on the more sore/tender parts of my body. I paid $60 for an hour, plus a $40 tip. A lot of other reviewers are complaining about being "forced to tip." If I had gotten this massage at ANY other place, it would have easily been over $100, and that's without the hot towels and stones, which are usually an additional $10-$30. These people work their asses off to provide good, professional massage services and do not deserve to be ridiculed for wanting tips. I'm guessing about 20% (that's being generous) of the base massage cost goes to the masseuse. If you feel you are "shorted" of time, let them know. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you. I'd really give it a 3.75 (ha very specific) The deduction is because it's a hit or miss. The misses haven't exceed the hits though so I rounded up. I have gotten combo body and foot massages as well as only the foot massage. They are affordable prices, especially for the amount of time-just make sure you pay attention to the clock so you don't get jipped some minutes. Important to know: tipping is a must. Do not adhere to the whole "tip only for exceptional service" idea. That doesn't apply here because it's a different system of pay. They make their money from tips. So if you can't tip at least $10 know this, you are requesting a service where someone is doing the work you won't or can't do yourself and not paying them adequately. Don't be that person. My family and I we're just visiting for the weekend. I called about 5-6 places for a same day appointment. Unfortunately, they were all booked. We used yelp on almost everything when we travel and was hesitant to call this place because of the rating. Last and probably the only positive review recently was promising and had availability so I took it. I went with zero expectations as there is not a lot of pictures and website to check out. This place is not your fancy spa place but it's clean and quiet, I get so many massages both here in the US and Asia. I tell you Asian therapist are by far the best. I never had massage technique this good since my trip in Asia. Mac my Chinese therapist was great. $63 for an hour massage felt like 2hr and so much better than my $100 +++ massages. If you want quality massage like me sans the fancy spa set up in college station, this is worth a try. I rarely write a review here but I felt like this place deserve one. Tipping- I usually tip $20.00 the minimum is 10-15.00. This is not meant to be offensive. It is customary for Asians. It's not a percentage thing like in restaurants.... it's a fee for doing a strenuous job.. dealing with demanding customers, working in a dark building.... and touching your feet.. which no amount of tip money would make we do....yuck! They mainly work for tips. This means my one hour combo is about 60.00. That's the going rate without tips at non Asian Places. If you don't have the money to tip appropriately don't go here or at least take a less expensive service. Service-okay sometimes their English is not good.... the ones that speak English well are cardiac surgeons and scientists...they are not working for tips and massaging your feet.. yuck! Anyway... they might smell like coffee or food... they practically live there... I.e. super long hours to massage your feet... yuck again! Other than that.... if you are uncomfortable with gender of the person massaging you..make an appointment ... don't walk in... because I never know what I'm doing from one minute to the next so I get what I get ... and I don't complain.... BTW- massaging someone's scalp without oil on your fingers is difficult.. I take a shower afterwards so no problems.. and wear loose pants so I can get a great leg massage.. I love this place .. a because they know me as the lady who gives good tips, I get smiles and great service.. and I leave feeling renewed and thankful that there are people in the world willing to do this work.. Terrible service. Paid for 3 one-hour foot massages and my wife's masseuse kept leaving the massage area to do side work such as help other walk-ins and answer phones. The amount of breaks he took totaled well over the "2 minutes" he decided to offer her in compensation. When it came time to pay, they were insistent that I tip her masseuse. I refused and told him her massage was constantly interrupted. They don't seem to grasp the concept of customer service and were very quick to tell us they were all done after 52 minutes of massaging. Would NOT recommend. read more

When you walk in the musty smell of detergent hits you right off but you do get used to it I suppose. Communication is an issue here but generally not a major road block. We had a foot massage (40 min) for three people which is about 20 dollars each (different prices with cash and card) and the massage is a definite four star. The ambience drags it down a bit. First time going. I had no clue what to expect. I choose the combo. 30min body 30min feet. I was asked to go into a room with no further directions. So I sat there for a bit before he came back and asked if I was ready... I was confused. THEN he told me take my top off and lay on the bed. I was wearing a sports bra so I wasn't sure if I was suppose to take that off to!? I am not shy so I just went for it! Which was I guess what he meant. The body massage was decent. Massage lady wasn't very good yesterday. She kept leaving me alone in the chair. Her pressure was inconsistent and didn't speak English. I tipped $23 for foot massage for two people. Lady even called the manager up to the front saying I wasn't tipping enough. I paid for myself and my two nieces foot massage. One of my nieces was leaving the tip herself for her massage and I guess the lady at the front desk didn't understand and got mad. They were able to see me two nights in a row and get me "back" on track!!! The first time I went here I had a male and had a wonderful experience and tipped accordingly. The 2nd time I had a female who rushed through the entire hour and did not feel as though her technique was up to par. I also noted on the clock when she began and finished both the body and foot section and was short a few mins while she was having side convos in back. Not a problem, I'll still give them another shot bc it's affordable and I prefer these little hidden gems once in a while. Now -as to why I was turned off. I told the man at front about my experience and he has the audacity to tell me to tip more. Now let's be clear, I tipped the girl according to the quality massage I received. It is incredibly tacky for a business owner to tell you to tip more, especially when they're service was lacking. This is not a spa or a professionally trained establishment. I will not tip over $10 for a $39 massage if I was not satisfied with my experience. Maybe he should pay his workers more per hour rather than TELLING customers to tip more. Alright so the good stuff first. The massage I had was a very nice massage. I asked her for lighter pressure today as I just wanted to relax. She immediately lightened up her pressure. She was very professional and asked several times if I was enjoying it. Her English wasn't terrible to understand but the communication was limited. I received my full hour session (which I wasn't expecting considering the other reviews on here). The bad stuff: There is basically no communication. You walk in and point on a services list to which appointment you are wanting. I, personally, prefer a female therapist so I had to wait (about 5 minutes) for her to get done with the previous session. I am not too shy, but some people may be less comfortable with just a towel covering them. I did feel I was covered the entire time, however. Would I recommend this place? It's a nice new place for relatively inexpensive massages. I tried and enjoyed "half-and -half "n 30 minutes back and 30 minutes foot massage. Back massage is what's in my book is a "deep tissue" message, and that's their default. Presumably one can ask for a lighter one. There are two things that makes it less than perfect: 1) the foot massage is done in a big common room (but that's frequent for some spas. 2) while the masseuse (Jason) did a great massage, I wish his hands (skin) were a bit smoother. I am not sure how many masseuses they have though... I suspect it's a spillover from the Houston area chain (franchise? ). When I first arrived, it was very awkward because no one could speak English very well. When I managed to get through to an associate, they took me to a room and asked me to undress. While undressing, in the span of about 3 minutes, the associate knocked on the door three separate times. When the associate returned, I had asked if I could have a female masseuse, because it would make me feel more comfortable, the associate said there wasn't one available. The massage that was given was AMAZING, but I would have still preferred a woman since I was disrobed. I used the last of funds for the week to pay for the massage on my birthday. I only had a couple bucks left and gave it as a tip. I even said "I wish I had more to give you because that massage was amazing!" The masseuse then said that a $10-$15 tip would be more appreciated, and pointed to a sign. I was baffled. And embarrassed that I couldn't give what was "expected." I'm pregnant, two days away from my due date and just wanted a glorious nap and foot rub. I was so pumped to find this place on google. I read through the reviews and reigned in my expectations accordingly. I didn't want to spend a ton, I didn't want to be physically uncomfortable, and I wanted hands on my feet for an extended amount of time! Pretty simple expectations. My expectations were met! So as an easy to please customer I was happy with their services. The very first thing I noticed was the sign hanging that says "average tip is $10-15." That was a little off putting but again, I had in mind from the reviews that I'd definitely need to tip. I didn't make an appointment, didn't have to wait on a Tuesday morning right when they opened. The masseuse guy smelled like coffee, gross. He also had oily hands when he rubbed my head/hair which I wasn't expecting and was a little annoyed with. I got my head, neck, arms and legs rubbed in addition to my feet - huge plus! It was a true hour of massage, completely amazing. There was a mixture of normal massaging and Thai massage (maneuvering joints, body weight, pressure and release) which I really enjoyed. Great place for a foot rub if you ask me! This was a terrible "spa" experience. I'm used to getting regular massages and someone at work recommended this place. I'd had a two-day headache, soI thought I'd try it out. When I first called, the guy who answered could not understand what I was saying. He took my appointment time, but no name and did not ask for which service I was setting an appointment. This should have been my first clue. As I arrived I was put in a massage room where I could hear the front door being opened and the phone ringing. In walks the guy who was working reception. The massage was quite rough. I enjoy a deep tissue massage, but this was rough- as in, I was just being pushed back and forth and squeezed awkwardly. Then came the visitors. People entered my room and my masseuse left every time the phone rang or someone came in and they spoke in their native language. Sometimes they just left the door open as I was on the table. In an effort to "make up" for missed time, my massage was rushed for the remainder. When the phone rang from then on he massaged me with one hand and answered the phone with the other. I'm not one to complain or say anything, so I just sat there and counted down the minutes until my time was over. At the end I was given a whore bath, where I was roughly wiped down with a scratchy washcloth. I don't know if it was meant to be exfoliating or not. I was waiting for the foot massage. I was hoping that would redeem my visit seeing as how that is their namesake. The foot massage wasn't bad. It was in a common area separated by screens, so I could hear the person behind me snoring. Good for him. I was still trying to catch my breath from the kidney massage I just finished. The lounges are not adjustable, so I was a bit squirmy trying to settle in. My head was still throbbing, and I didn't have a pillow so I laid my head over. 30 minutes and done! I was ready to pay and be out. I contemplated complaining and asking for a discount for the amount of interruptions, rushing, and force used during my massage. I decided not to. This was not even a 'give them a second chance' decision. I wanted to leave and never come back. I went to the front to pay and handed the receptionist/masseuse my debit card. He asked if I had cash and when I said no, looked at me funny. I filled out the slip and thought about the tip. Tough one. I could tell he was already getting paid hourly since he was the receptionist as well, so I decided to half my tip. I left $8. As I handed it back he looked at it and said $8 for me? When I said yes he handed it back and said "$15 for me" and stared at me. The shock of his audacity had not quite set in, so I politely responded that I felt it was a fair tip for the amount of interruptions, people coming in my room, phone calls being answered and his time away from me. He stared at me in case I caved and changed it, finally replying "ok" and giving my receipt. As I got to my car it hit me. I debated going back inside and giving a piece of my mind, but after the rough massage, long day of work, and hunger, I opted to leave instead. I looked up yelp reviews in the parking lot and started laughing as I read others who had experienced the same things I had. I'm honestly surprised this place is still in business. It must just be from cheap foot massages, not full body or anything else. Would I return? Nope. Would I recommend them to a friend? Nope. I know it's only been 5 days but I had to go back and check out their body massage. Long story short, I still loved it but still think this place may not be for everyone... And I may just frequent this place for what it's selling itself for - foot massage. I got a body and foot combo, which is 60 min of body and 30 min of foot. For the body massage, they escorted me to a room with a single table (last time for the body part of 60 min foot massage, I went into a room with two tables). For my last foot massage, they game me shoulder massage on the massage table with my clothes on but this time I was instructed to take clothes off. No big deal, just like any massage place. What I did not think was too common was they only gave me a big bath towel to cover myself - I think most places I've been have sheets and blanket. The body massage starts with over that towel, with the masseuse using mostly his arms. As it progresses, the cover comes off, which I'm still okay, and it is like regular deep tissue massage with some gel and figure pressures. What I think will be a shocker for people is eventually the only thing that's covering was a little piece of face towel over my underwear. Don't get me wrong, the massage is not sexual at all but it's weird to lay on the massage table with both the top and bottom uncovered. It was maybe just a few minutes but it was weird. I've had massages like that in Asia but cannot recall having one like that in College Station. (Maybe it was like that at a high end spa in Dallas) The massage itself makes me think of Asian chiropractic massage, and they bend your knees and elbows and seem to try to pop your joints. I saw that foot only massage is $20 for 40 min so I may stick with that... Massage itself is awesome but I'm not sure if I can ever relax completely when only about 5-6 inches of my body is covered up....
