I love this place! I always get the foot massage ($20) and ask for Vic. Haha, i'm not going to lie-- depending on my mood I can tip pretty well- and sometimes give $15 additional dollars for tip. I think the range for tipping should be from $7-10 just because the massage is dirt cheap and the masseuse need to live off of something. I'm a little sad that people have discovered A+ and now it's a bit tougher to get appointment ins, but lord, is the massage amazing and the ambiance pleasant. It seems that these foot massage places are popping up on every corner in Chinatown. A+ stands out in my mind because for the grand price of $20, I can sneak away from my life for one hour. There is nothing like a good foot massage. If done correctly, you'll feel as if you'd had a complete full-body massage and a full night of sleep. I have to admit that when done correctly, I've been known to even fall into deep slumber while my toes and feet were massaged. This facility is different from the many foot massage parlors popping up all over town. It is cleaner than most and offers more of a private massage. They have arranged the chairs in bays, so one doesn't feel as if they are being rubbed up on in public. While they do speak amongst each other, they do so in a whisper, adding to their professionalism. Trust me, you won't miss the "shouting across the room ambiance" that you'll get at many of the other foot massage joints. I've only had one disappointment - one of the therapists came in after smoking and although he may have washed his hands, he wreaked of smoke and I felt as if he were rubbing nicotine all over my body. This was definitely not stress free, but to be very honest, it was the only time where I didn't relax. "Foot massage only" option however actually already includes arms legs thighs shoulders face scalp back! So idk what the difference is but don't get jipped! Wear sweat pants and a tshirt for convenience of massage, and take off your watches jewelry earrings necklace! Don't wear makeup as they do some face massaging. Lights could be more dim. Place wasn't dark and serene enough. Water wasn't hot enough for my foot soak. Halfway through they make you transfer to another room for the back massage part. May go to another place where their massage chairs have the face insert already there for you to flip on since id prefer not walking halfway. But other than that this place was decent. read more

I have personally been here twice. The first time was fine. But this second time was such a terrible experience! My boyfriend and I had two ladies who were barely using any force unlike the men who did our massage the last time we went. After paying we tipped 18% because we did not have an additional 2 dollars for 20% and we felt as though they only deserved 18%. And they pestered us to tip more!! We didn't really understand what was going on at first so we gave them with an additional 5 dollar bill. Right after our massage we had 4 friends come in (we didn't get to tell them about the service or the tip problem yet) and in the end they pestered them to tip 40%!!!!!!!! Never coming back. The ONLY disappointment I experienced, as mentioned in other reviews, was when the receptionist told me the average tip per therapist was $10. THIS WAS ON MY FIRST VISIT. Although, I believe the massage was well worth more than the $20 cost, a 50% tip was not in my budget that day, thus my reason for going to this establishment...otherwise I could have frequented ANY of the other foot relax salons along that street. I would say this place isn't half bad! Probably my 4th time here and each time, I've gotten a different masseuse. My experience this time wasn't bad because I was able to get the room with the mister. A little more privacy compared to being out in the open. However, I didn't like the fact that after my foot massage, they moved me in another room just to finish up like rubbing the shoulders or what not. I don't see why they don't just have the setup in the same room. It's an inconvenience just moving around disturbing others. I went to this place because Triple Tree Center was closed today... I thought TTC was good, but A+ Foot Massage is WAY better! I called to see when they close, he said I could come at 930pm.. my massage started around 940pm, the guys apologized many times that my massage was late (I think b/c some people ahead of me were late which pushed the times back). It really was no biggie, I still got my full hour. I got the Combo ($30), 30 min body massage and 30 min foot/head/neck massage. Wow the guy did an excellent job. He made me feel so relaxed, hit all my pressure points & knots. I could tell he knew his "reflexology". He asked me a couple times if it was too hard (It wasn't for me) and told me to let him know if it was too hard. Then, for the foot massage, he also did really GOOD! He was super nice and did a fantastic job. He was the guy with glasses mid-30s that someone else on here mentioned too! I have to say this place blew me away. One night, I decided to go get a massage at one of the foot massage places on Bellaire and this is the place I ended up going to. I came in around 9pm and they were able to get me in and going right away. I chose the $30 foot and body massage deal. Now I don't know the name of the guy who worked on me but WOW, he made me feel so relaxed with how he massaged my body, hitting all the right pressure points and never hurting me in any way. Then when it was time for the foot, he did a really good job as well. I can tell he was very good at what he does even though he said he didn't know much English. Only been there once but next time I go back, I'm definitely asking for the same guy as last time. He wears glasses and looks like he is in his early 30's. I have been going to A+ for many years and send many friends of mine to this place. They are clean, skilled masseuses, price point is good. You can ask them to focus on one area and forego another if needed. I typically will have them not massage my back but do the head, neck and shoulders for longer. I get the 1 hour foot massage. I have read other people's reviews about the tips- I think they are hard working and most likely lowly paid, I have no problem tipping them "big" For my $20 massage I usually do $15-20. read more

excellent service. a lot of people have been talking about this "old asian woman" at the front, but i was confronted by a young asian college kid, who obviously spoke the language and proper english. i informed him about my back surgery just days before. i'm not sure if the masseuse was just very professional or the young kid gave him instruction, but it wasn't painful at all (he told me to put my hand up or give a signal if i was in too much pain) well, i was never in too much pain. to be honest with you, i wanted the hour to get by faster. it was very stimulating, he got all muscles in my body (no, don't think that way), and my feet, with its first foot massage, feel incredible. i have no idea what they put in this foot bath but it's awesome all these people on yelp have been complaining of some old fart asian woman who demands high tips. i left a 5 dollar tip for the 30 dollar service. some were made to leave 10 dollars for a 20 dollar service. i completely agree it's ridiculous to leave them 50 percent tip. I've been to this place multiple times throughout the past 2 years. Every time I've been, the experience has been pleasant. The music is soothing, the therapists use a decent amount of pressure, and I've never had to wait. Shoutout to my dude Kevin, because he does a pretty good job! My biggest complaint is how they demand tips for their therapists. There is a sign in the front that says "The average tip is $10-15 because our therapists work hard". However, when a service is $20, it's not customary for you to ask for a 50% tip. Usually, it's a $10-20 tip when you go to a licensed massage place or a day spa, so I can't begin to understand how an unlicensed foot massage place can ask for the same consideration. If you pay with a card and you're not tipping at least $10, be prepared for a judgmental look and the receptionist tapping the sign to tell you to tip more. Word to the wise, bring cash and avoid that whole ordeal. read more

20 bux for a 1 hour foot massage? and its good? I'm on my way! The place is located on bellaire just across from the apple dentist place on kirkwood in the newer looking front shopping center. The place was surprisingly clean and nicely lit with cam lights. no florescents here. The place uses really big comfortable recliner chairs with a pillow covering your face hole. They start out with soaking your feet in hot water with a tea bag and then rub your head. expect them to push down on different pressure point spots. then they work your shoulders, arms and hands and then go to work on the feet followed by back and some funny stretches. Towards t he end, t hey will lightly do hand slaps against your back and sometimes the back of your feet which can be weird but its relaxing after effects will be felt after you walk out. the asian woman speaks english but unfortunately the massage guys don't as most of them are from china. The guys here did a very good job nonetheless and were actually more gentle with their pressure points and avoided my spine. I've had other guys at other foot massage places push on my spine only to put me off and never return. make sure you let the lady know whatever joint pains and muscle strains you might have so she can communicate with the masseuse appropriately. read more

I arrived here for the first time on Sunday 7/3 about 10ish after reading everyone's review. No waiting what so ever, they took me in right away. I got a massage with Tim and he did a great job. I paid $30 for a half hour body and half hour foot massage. The environment was quite and relaxing. It was a great experience and definitely deserves more than a $2 or $3 dollar tip. So don't be frugal, it's already a great deal for a full hour massage. Also the lady at the front desk by the name of Joyce was friendly when I meet her.
