On April 4, 2026 I had the delightful experience of having my carpets cleaned by "A Fresh Look" Carpet Cleaning. Colton and Larry came out to assess a dark stain on my light tan carpet. I had an other carpet company try to get the stain out and they said they would try but could not get the stain out. I thought the stain was pet urine and maybe some oil tracked in. I even went to the carpet provider to see if the warrantee would help with replacing the carpet. I was fortunate to talk with Diane Dickeson at ProSource and she helped me narrow down my options. She recommended Larry Glispy at A Fresh Look. He's amazing! He and Colton came out and immediately said that they could get the stain out. They were expert in seeing that the stain was probably caused by some asphalt that was tracked in when the city did a resurfacing project on my street. Yesterday I had these cleaners in to do a really hard job in a really cramped space. They did a wonderful cleaning on my carpet, area rugs and upholstery. They were fast, efficient and just really hard working men, one of them paused from cleaning for a little while to help us try to capture a young dog who was running in and out of traffic outside. (He evaded us but others joined the chase and he is safe and home). If that doesn't tell you what a good human he is, nothing will. The gentleman that owns the company seems to be a great business owner and a fair boss also. The price was more than fair. We will have them back more often. read more

I called for a quote. I was out of town in Canada and was depending on reviews that I read on Yelp. I got Larry on the phone who said that yes, his quote might be a bit higher than some other companies but that he would guarantee that there would be no pet smells when they were done. I was suspect as I have Neve heard anyone say such a thing but I knew that there had been a puppy (yikes!) in the condo that I had rented that had very expensive carpet in. I knew that I may be looking at having to replace it but first - I took a chance on this Larry character and his word, which I have found many times not to be worth much in this state, sad to say but true! Well, the people moved in 3 weeks later and a month after that they told me that there was a definite pet pee smell when lying on the living room carpet. That was no surprise to me but what was a surprise was when I called Larry, (the Owner) and asked him if his guarantee still stands (after almost 2 months he said "absolutely! I called for a quote on Tuesday night, got a response that night, scheduled and appointment for Wednesday evening. They had availability for 5:30pm after i got out of work. The technician Ross came and completed in about an hour. I got my carpet shampood and the grout tile cleaned in my kitchen and downstairs. There was some grout that wasn't fully cleaned and Ross after he put away his equipment said he would rather do the job right to my satisfaction and brought back out the equipment to get a small spot of grout cleaned. I insisted he get it next time, but he said nope, i'll get it now and hooked everything back up. I am very satisfied and they take pride in their work. I appreciate the high level of satisfaction. AMAZING!! My aging dog had a bloody diarrhea accident all throughout our basement. Larry responded right away and had his guys out within a couple of hours! They got everything up and even some older red and blue spots. There was a big yellow paint stain that wouldn't come up, so Larry came out just a few hours later and repaired it with some extra carpet I had. We just re-homed a 4th cat who is a bit older and our other cats did not approve. The older cat decided to mark his territory on our couch and chair. We called Larry on a Saturday morning and he answered the phone while he was on a job in Tooele and said "no problem, I can get my guys to come in today and fit you in" low and behold in about an hour and a half Colt and Ross showed up and started right away. Though they said that the carpets would be dry in 3 hours and it was more like 18 hours, I won't dock them for that because everything looks so good.
